36th bomb || Hayato Gokudera || [video/in person]
[Anyone venturing into the kitchen who happens to know the typically foul-tempered silverette may be in for quite a shock.
The teen in the kitchen with an apron and his hair covered with a bandanna, stirring a bowl of some sort of pastry batter with another woman who holds a striking resemblance to the teen, some may recognize her as the boy's mother. It did not take his mother long to pick up that stirring batter was really the only job he could do in the kitchen without burning it down- as evidenced by the charred failed batches of god-knows-what in the sink. Assuming he's finished the batter he holds it out for his mother look at.]
Mamma, this good?
[Because god, if he gets caught like this it'll be so embarrassing! His mother takes a peak and shakes her head chuckling- he wasn't even close.]
Not quite yet Hayato, just a bit more.
[And she brushed some of the batter and flour and various other things from his face and shirt while silently wondering how he managed to get himself so filthy... then she proceeded to ruin his manly image even more by just snuggling up to his messy face with her own. He blushed and squirmed a bit, but he would be damned before he had the heart to push her away. Complaining however was totally fair game.]
M-Ma! I'm gunna spill it!

like a creeper.Whatever Hayato thought, now he was closer to a family life than Ryuutaro had ever gotten to be.
And he was looking adorable.]
Having fun?
no subject
Oh god that was actually recorded.
Practically jumping for the thing after tossing the bowl on the table, he switched the feed to private, his cheeks a very deep shade of red.]
H-how long was this recording?!
[His mother, rather curious as to what the sudden commotion was about, peered on the screen with the top of her head touching Hayato's. Of course she's going to give Ryuutaro a bright smile and a little wave.]
Hello Fukami-kun~!
no subject
Oh, a little while~
[He sounded cheerful about this. Sorry, Hayato, no pity for you this time.]
no subject
[Frantic button pressing is a go- WHY CAN'T HE DELETE IT FROM THE NETWORK!? Though his efforts are hampered by the handle of a wooden spoon making light contact with the tip of his nose.]
Hayato, watch your language.
[And then lookit him blush more... and really not know what to make of that. Usually he didn't care but... this was his mother, and as it's just been proven she can sucker him into just about anything...]
S-sorry ma...
[And she is just going to yoink the little device out of Hayato's hands for a moment]
Fukami-kun, are you hungry? We're making cannoli.
no subject
Ryuutaro was rarely really hungry, but he was not going to miss this show.]
If I may, I'd like to come over and try a bit. You two seem to be putting a lot of effort into it.
no subject
[And when Ryuutaro does come down in those few minutes he will be greeted by the sight of Lavina assaulting her son's face with a wet rag.]
M-ma! I'm sixteen! I can wash my own face!
[Of course Hayato really isn't doing much in the way of trying to get away, other than awkwardly squirming about...
..and blushing.]
Wait a minute, just hold still another moment Hayato, there's just one more spot!
no subject
When they were done he finally made his presence known, stepping in fully]
Good afternoon.
no subject
[And she relinquishes her hold on Hayato (whose cheeks do not appeared to have lost their red-tint since he first broad-casted the feed) and greets Ryuutaro with a warm smile...]
Just in time! We just finished. [She gives Hayato a little push towards Ryuutaro] You boys go in the dining room, and I'll bring it out for you.
[Hayato looked a bit surprised to have his mother abruptly just... offer him to go, even if it was only for a few minutes. He knew it was stupid of him, but he was almost afraid that if he let her out of his sight she would disappear again. But he wouldn't disobey her either and nodded, walking over to Ryuutaro and taking his hand to lead him to the dining room.
After a few nervous glaces over his shoulder as they left, the teen just leaned his head against Ryuutaro's letting out a sigh and even laughing a little with it. Despite how utterly embarrassing the whole event was... he was just really happy.]
no subject
He looked at Hayato and decided that he should look like this a lot more often]
Looks like you two had a really good time, hm?
no subject
[He walked into the dining room with his boyfriend and oh so happily gave him a quick peck on the cheek, before they sit down.
Then he just starts laughing burying his face in Ryuutaro's shoulder.]
I... it's really weird... it was so embarrassing, but it was really fun... and... this...
[He looks up at Ryuutaro with a big beaming smile, his cheeks still rosy. Everything just felt so right. If his boss were here he would never want to leave. He would have everything, his mother, a boy who he loved, and his boss]
This is what it's like having a family right?
no subject
I suppose so, but it's not like I could tell from proper experience.
[His family had certainly never been like this, this intimate and close, a thing that was generally agreed on by all family-members.]
But even if it wouldn't be, it should not matter too much as long as it feels right.
Besides, it should not be embarrassing to you at all. It was really nice to watch.
no subject
But that's normal right? Your family is supposed to embarrass you like that. [He sighs and his smile fades into something more solemn] Why can't things just stay like this?
[He didn't want to have to say goodbye to his mother again. It was hard enough back in October... why couldn't she stay? He was so happy the way things were here.]
no subject
[Also there is a fan pointed at you, but only softly]
Either way, I think you have enough time to try and figure this out sometime else, right?
[He smiled at Hayato and tilted his head a bit, searching for agreement. Right now Hayato should smile and nothing else. The rest could come later.]
no subject
Mamma? Where are you goin'?
[She turned to her son]
Someone needs to do the dishes Hayato.
[The teen instantly gets up]
I should help then!
[She walks back over and pushes Gokudera down by his shoulders, then tilts his head up to look at her.]
Sit, you. You've been more than a good help. Now enjoy your food.
[And before Gokudera can protest she leans down and plants a kiss on her son's forehead, which shuts him right up. He takes a deep breath and his cheeks light up a bit more as he just savored the moment, burning into his memory what a mother's touch was like. He wouldn't know it much longer.
She pulled back, and smiled at what she considered her two boys, and gave Ryuutaro's shoulder a light squeeze as well.]
Now you boys have fun.
[And with that she leaves]
no subject
Hayato's mother confused him a bit though, but just a bit. It'd been ages since he saw such a caring person. Though he couldn't help but wonder if she left alone because Hayato was bad at kitchen-work]
She's amazingly kind.
no subject
[He smiles and looks down at the little Italian pastries, taking one in his hand, passively wondering what he would be like if she had been the one to raise him.]
She used to bring these for me when she would come to visit... hers was... is always the best.
