[Kio bites his lip, eyes welling with sadness]

[Trying to put on a brave front.] Whatever. It just means when I find the Author I'm going to kick her ass.

[She earns a gentle ruffle of her hair. He's speaking soothingly now. He wants to make this better- even if he's pretty torn on whether their ghosts are real or not.]

The author knows a lot about us, she's just trying to pull your strings.

[Yeah, it's cool, some Harry Mason ghost is just somewhere moping right now because his daughter accused him of not existing.]

Y-yeah. That's totally it. I did the right thing.

[~~If Eddie knew that, he would feel so guilty. He's encouraging Harry Mason abuse!~~ All Eddie can really do is give Heather a hug. He trying to help her feel better.]
