[Once again Piccolo was storming through the halls angrily, not like that's anything new for Piccolo. As if YET ANOTHER humiliating defeat in New York, and getting confined once more into the mannor wasn't bad enough, but NOOOOO the author had to make the manor as decorative and obnoxiously shiny as physically possible.

He stormed to his room and glared at the bizzare lighted branch on his door as though it were the source of all his problems. So he eyelasers the thing into oblivion before blowing into his room slamming the door so hard behind him the walls around his door crack. Enter at your own risk, although this is probably the first tantrum he's had without trying to blow the manor and/or a city up. He's improving!]

[Dende. So far there's Elphaba, the hostage pawn. Piccolo her "valiant" knight in green armor. Zarbon the opposing King and... then there's Dende. Presumably, he's the one that knows the password. If what Piccolo says is true, even with the password, Zarbon won't be able to summon that Dragon. Given the dirty tactics he uses, there's the chance that he'll torture her to death before he'll acknowledge his stupidity. Childish. Hates to lose. But definitely not as smart as L.]

I'll have to speak to Dende. ...Ah, but before I do that. My terms. A life.

[he takes s step back, giving Light some room in case he didn't feel like being practically pinned against a wall. He proved his merit enough, now to see if the kid was as smart as he bragged]

Oh I'm well aware. But this isn't about a grudge, Piccolo-san; it's about getting the Author's attention. Anyone will do. You see, I'm tired of this prison hole. I want a way out and if infuriating the Author is the only way of getting written out, then so be it.

How difficult is it to create a fake Dragon Ball?

I doubt that's going to work, there have already been murders and I've blown up this place more than I can count, but if it's what you want it'll be easy enough.

[Piccolo holds out his hand and there's a little flash, and suddenly there's a tacky marble Dragon Ball in it]

Doubt it. Last I knew only Kamj and I could do it,but I assume that little Dende brat can do it too.

Good. Given how prone to dramatics Zarbon is, he won't admit to his idiocy immediately and Elphaba is likely to get hurt in the crossfire. So, give him the explanation that he wants to hear. "The dragon cannot be summoned because you do not have the Dragon balls." Or something to that effect.

Show him the fakes. Offer them in exchange for Elphaba. If he refuses, threaten to destroy them. Simple enough, no?
