[8th Calculation] The Manor 1st Edition [Video]

[On the public feed, Gene is sitting in a chair and begins his report.]

Welcome to the first run of The Manor. It's not a show. It's not a newspaper. It's a weekly report of the events that have gone on that should be known to the rest of us what's been going on. My name is Eugene Watson and I'll be your commentator since no one really wants this job.

First order of business, our gracious Author has left us to the devices of New York. Kaito, Aoko and Saguru had a fun time ice skating with Willy Wonka providing some interesting entertainment. Our resident and our good will agent uh....I'm not sure what to call it, but the dragon had some fun with the Christmas tree and caused a traffic jam with Iroh acting as her escort. I'm surprised that such a large reptile could move so fast.

The beginning of the week was a rough start for many as they tried to make amends with those that were either annoyed, emotionally damaged or somewhat taken aback.

Piccolo took advice from a certain resident pirate, it seems, when he went on a little spree of his own buy stealing food? Come on, if that doesn't scream strange, I don't know what does. He's got an addiction to Twinkies. I think it's something to do with the fact that he's trying to impress a certain girl. Elphaba perhaps? One may never know.

Eddie Riggs, you know I love you man, but seriously, you have to stop beating yourself up when it comes to matters of the heart. You're skin isn't like an elephant and you do bruise. It's just not gonna get you any girls that way. Maybe it's because of one girl that you choose to bear it all. I don't wanna know.

Dende offers to help out a fellow resident when he cried for help. He earns the Good Samaritan award for the week for helping out his fellow man...er...resident. He's not entirely, if none at all, human. Still, he's the shining example of what others seem to mess up so many times. Just lending a hand is touching. So, if you see Dende out and about, give him a warm thanks. He's got my applause.

If I recall, Zarbon isn't exactly the sharing type when it comes to the spotlight. *sighs* Looks like we're going to have to work on his people skills some.

And speaking of Officer Tommy, he tries once again to play a hero and boy he has no idea what he stepped into. He really should watch his toes or he'll get them chopped off by Zarbon. I commend his pro-activity but man he's a bit nosy. Then again, he was looking out for Dende so I guess that's understandable.

And now back to our resident tea expert and horn player, he got a little help from a few of the residence that helped him understand the meaning of Christmas. How thoughtful!

With Conan's outburst about Ran over a failed private signal, well, one can only say that if anything like that which should be kept private, shouting only makes it that much more noticeable.

Willy Wonka should be renamed Billy Bonkers. This guy...*whistles* he's off his rocker for an old man. He flipped his lid in the middle of a shopping center and bought a pair of shoes? Women's shoes to be more exact. We all saw your impersonation of Cher and yes, we know you have a secret shoe fettish. Just admit it. Everyone else knows it now. The cat's out of the bag.

Okay, moving right along.

The holiday season has poor Officer Hanson going all soft in the center. This guy really doesn't look like a cop. He looks like my little brother...who's still in high school. I can imagine that he still gets carded for PG-13 films.

Zarbon, Zarbon, Zarbon. Why did you have to pick on Dende? You know he's got a lot of friends and you have...oh...I dunno....a bank robber as an ally? Maybe if you weren't so hell bent on the balls, which I still think is a compensation for you lack of good taste and eighties legwarmers with the lack of a better word, tasteless, you might have a chance. And lose the cape. It makes you look gay.

Rise seems to have this idea that singing carols would make the world a better place. You know, that would work ideally if this was another place but this is the Manor. WAKE UP! We don't even have a chapel. Anyone find a Bible laying around? No? Thought so.

Yuiko invites Ritsuka on a little skating excursion and I think that if these two were stuck under the mistletoe sparks would fly...but that's a little too early to be thinking that, huh kids?

Natsuo seems to have this idea that tattoos make the man. It's a good philosophy if you had something to go along with it. It's an idea of expression, sure. I think we'll allow a little indulgence now and then, right?

With the arrival of Yomiko Readman at borders, seems like she's developing a crush or several on those hard bound......books. What, did you think I was going to say something else? There's kids that live here, sheesh.

Apollo seems to get the creeps from just being out on the streets? Apparently he'll get used to it once we start visiting more and more places along the way. You're lucky, you didn't visit an abandoned power plant. Nuclear power plant to be more exact. How's that for added paranoia?

Boy that Zarbon is a popular guy. Seems like just about the whole of the Manor wants a piece of him....to mount on the wall. Geez.

Elphaba. Now there's a woman with color. Green in the winter is a bit hard to miss and if she wore a red dress, she'd look like a Christmas tree, which is doubtful. The Green Queen and her Green Team of Namaks really click, don't they? Add Zarbon in the mix and it's a full set....not quite.

Welcome new comers, Crona, Akiko, Yamiko, Giselle and Stein. I'll get the rest of you guys later. You think it's easy talking about this stuff? The Secret Santa thing will be done...oh, I dunno....later. Me? I'm gonna go to bed after a stiff drink.

[The feed cuts off.]
