[The feed starts with a little Namekian in the kitchen, sipping a glass of water. Those who remember him from his first arrival will probably recognize him as Dende, but he could also pass off as a tiny well-mannered Piccolo. It doesn't take him long to notice the video feed has come on. Well, since it was on already, he might as well address the elephant in to room]

Um, pardon me if I'm interrupting anything, but has this happened to everyone? As one of the author's plots?

[He looks around the kitchen]

Well, if it has I would very much be willing to help people acquire food and such, as I can still fly and materialize. I hope you are all well.

[And he bows politely and cuts the feed]

[A fat green baby ... A green baby. Could it be? Although Tom had told her to forget about it, that old investigative habit of Naomi's was far too persistent to stifle. But how strange. This kid doesn't appear to be a killer. Even if that murder had been an accident, he doesn't seem like the type prone to impulsive actions in the first place. Then again, neither did her murderer.

She had promised Tom that she wouldn't interfere, wouldn't question anyone about her suspicions, but no one ever said she wasn't allowed to at least get to know the people of the manor. Naomi prepared her best fake smile and turned on the feed.]

Good morning. Yes, I'm pretty sure that this is one of the Author's plots, and since the height difference makes things rather inconvenient, it's awfully nice of you to offer to help. I was actually planning on making some tea this morning. Would you mind helping me out? I can prepare some for you to if you'd like.

[Dende smiles happily to the screen. What a nice woman! It was good to see people who could hold themselves respectfully in the manor.]

Oh that would be wonderful! Thank you! I believe I've seen you around before, but I never caught your name.

[He bows politely to the screen]

I am Dende, it's a pleasure to meet you!

Pleased to meet you, Dende. My name is Naomi. I'll meet you in the kitchen soon.

[Naomi shuts off the device and makes her way to the kitchen, all the while thinking to herself. He sure was a friendly guy, but she couldn't drop her guards just yet. She had made that mistake once already. As Misora enters the kitchen, she gives Dende a wave.]

[Dende slips off the chair, and walks over to her bowing politely]

Hello Naomi! Um, what sort of tea do you like? I can materialize some, or we could try and make whatever is in the cabinet. Whichever you prefer.

[He smiles kindly]

[Naomi tugs a bit at her now-oversized turtleneck, trying to keep the sleeves from slipping over her hands. Sure the closet had somehow been magically stocked with clothes that actually fit her new form, but like hell she was going to wear those stupid, tragically fruity outfits from her childhood. It was bad enough she had to wear a pink, frilly skirt, since adult-sized jeans were out of the question. There was no way she's going to stomach the matching pink blouse as well. Naomi tugs at the sleeve again.

However, that strange green kid's unsolicited peppy attitude quickly dissipated any previous feelings of awkward, now displaced by curiosity.]

Materialize, really? Are you able to materialize anything?

Well, anything within reason, I can't materialize a house, and I have to know what it is before hand. I have had tea a number of times, and I'm lucky I was quite good at materialization even as a child.

[He notices her tugging at the very loose turtleneck]

Perhaps I could make you a new shirt as well?

_{[ Have a very aggravated Vegeta in child form. He's pouty and has cute little bangs sweeping across his forehead. ]}

I forgot how annoying being a child is. I have to fly to reach everything.

This is a horrible. Curse this Author and everything she stands for.

Oh hello Vegeta!

[Dende chuckles... well it comes out more like a giggle at this age... he remembers having to navigate the Lookout being barely 3 feet tall...]

It can be cumbersome can't it? Don't worry it should only last a week. Is there anything you need help with?

[And he's secretly glad Vegeta has shrunk in size as well... the last time he was this size, Vegeta had no qualms with ~~punting~~ kicking him...]

[Ichabod isn't too excited being a kid again with his memories in place. To make matters worse, he appears the same age he was when his mother was murdered by his own father.]

I could be better though I think some tea should settle my nerves. Care to join me?

Ah Mr. Crane!

[Dende smiles warmly, he didn't have the most pleasant memories of being this size as well, but he was long lived enough to be able to make it less clear exactly what age the author stuck him at]

I would very much like that! Where should we meet?

[~~BTW you're adorable BB Mr. Crane~~~]

[~~He heard that. XD~~

[Ichabod's smile was returning Dende's sincerity which was a lot to count for considering that this week is just like the last time only they shrank and not reversed.]

I have a kettle in my room. The Author was kind enough to make this room appear like the one I had in the Hollow. It is much appreciated and much homier in my opinion than the more modern setting that I often feel regrettably out of place.

_{[ Vegeta 'hmph's and folds his little arms across his chest. ]}

No. The only one who's going to need help is the wench that put this lovely curse on us.

[and true to his word, there's a little knock on the door in just a few moments]

Mr. Crane?

[Ichabod looks up from the tea kettle over the fire and smiles, trotting over to the door, reaching up to push down the lever.]

Ah, Dende! So good of you to come. Please, make yourself at home.

[Oh is he still on about that? Ah well, he'll come to accept it eventually... well... Dende hopes so anyway]

Well I see you've got you tail back?....Oh dear you don't think there will be a full moon will there?

[that could mean VERY bad things....]

[Dende bows politely in greeting before making his way in]

You have a very nice room, Mr. Crane.

Thank you very much. I've been doing some modifications here and there though I am having a bit of trouble with electricity. I have shocked myself more than once without the proper knowledge though I do believe that it is fine for its intended purpose for the time being.

[He checks the kettle once again and smiles.]

Ah, just in time.

[His little hands wrap around the heavy kettle's handle with a thick cloth.]

Oh this is heavier than I had thought.

Electricity? I haven't dabbled in that at all I'm afraid. Perhaps my people did once upon a time, but I have long since clung to our very simple ways. It's was one of those small comforts being so far from home for so long.

[He smiles kindly and points a finger at the kettle causing it to lift in the air by itself]

Please Mr. Crane, allow me to help.

[That's a very tempting offer, and she is curious.]

Hmm, alright. [She smiles.] Show me what you can do!

Alright!

[He points a finger at Misora's clothes and with a little flash it suddenly fits!]

There! Is that better?

A-amazing ... Thank you so much.

Ah, life would be so much more convenient if I could do that. Is this kind of talent typical of your kind?

[Ichabod smiles at the sudden loss of weight. Being small at 7 didn't mean he had the strength as an adult. He welcomed the help.]

Thank you kindly, Mr. Dende. I shall set the table for our tea.

[Setting down a hot pad, two tea cups and scones that he acquired from the kitchen, he makes sure that everything is perfect. That part would never leave him.]

Actually, even though it was a discovery back in my time, it wasn't until much later that it would soon be a part of everyday living. I have no use for gadgets other than the ones that I know that would help expedite matters such as preservation of specimens and the separation of blood plasma and hemoglobin.

Yes, but some are better at it then others. I'm from the Dragon Clan so we excel in materialization and the like, but are poor fighters. The Warrior Clan is just the opposite.

[Now that caught her interest. Fighters, hmm? They could potentially be dangerous.]

Oh, how cool. You mentioned flying as well? What other skills are you guys capable of? [She gives an unintentionally kiddish giggle, which annoyed Naomi just the slightest but she ignores it.] Humans are rather boring, you see.

[Dende heads over to the table, when Ichabod sets down the hot pad Dende takes the kettle in his hands and places it on the pad.]

Ah, I suppose such things would be very handy on your profession.

[Dende doesn't exactly know how else to respond to that all, as it ALL WENT COMPLETELY OVER HIS HEAD.]
