Third study •§• Leonardo •§• Second only to the Mona Lisa [In person]
[Anyone wandering the first floor corridor may well bump into Leonardo, precariously stood on a chair, carefully hanging a large picture on the wall. He's concentrating so hard on getting the picture straight, he seems completely oblivious to the fact that he's wobbling dangerously, stood on his tiptoes - the chair threatens to topple.
The picture itself is of Lucy, posed (clothed, of course) outside under one of the bigger tree's on the outskirts of the forest. As far as paintings go, Leo's unrivaled talent is obvious; the brushstrokes aren't visible, the proporations, the colour - the portrait simply looks like a photograph with added 'paint effects']
There! Perfetto-!
[Almost as if his exclamation of accomplishment was a physical force, the chair finally falls over, sending the artist flying. Sprawled across the floor, it takes him a few seconds to actually move before he starts laughing, propping himself up as he admires the masterpiece on the wall before him]
Assolutamente perfetto!
