[She wasn't sure if it was because she was relieved that he wasn't angry, even more embarrassed at having to remember, or the physical strains she'd put on her body recently. But, soon she was blinking back hot tears]

I know, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable..I don't know what was happening, it felt like..it was me but, I couldn't control myself..
