Hello. I am Agent Sasha Nein. I am assuming I have been kidnapped, and that you know what is going on. |

[At least this ‘Sasha’ isn’t flipping out or cursing over all of this. He also knows that other people have information, and is perhaps, hoping someone will offer him some.]

I have already explored the building to the best of my abilities, but considering how vast it is, I know I did not see any of the occupants here, even though there is proof such as the names on the door that there are others here. My fellow Kidnapped, then? |

You were kidnapped by a chick called the author. This is where she keeps us, unless she decides to dump us somewhere else for a week or two.

She's the one who brings us here. We're just her characters in a story - or so she thinks.

[You have it about right. I wish I could give clear answers, but even those of us who've been trapped here for some time only know so much.

You're no longer in your own world; the grounds outside only go so far - if you were to explore them as well, you'd either end up transported back there, or running into the barrier at the boundary of this realm. As far as anyone can tell, it's a dimensional bubble under the control of a girl we only know as the Author.

I'd say kidnapped is definitely the word for it - I haven't seen anyone here yet that didn't look like they were another one of the people taken here, and some of them don't seem like they're easy to keep in a box.

From what information I have skimmed, we're in a situation where we're being forced to play around.

Well, in some ways, you're one of the lucky ones.

From some evidence of some of the past "plots"? She can't directly interact with this realm, and in fact, believes it - and all of us - to be fictional. My best guess is that she's got some kind of power she's unaware of. She doesn't seem malicious, but that unawareness makes her dangerous anyway.

I see. Now, what can we do to survive this until we can possibly get out. Because I doubt everyone has been sitting around doing nothing.

That's what it's looked like to me. I thought I had a few guesses, but I've already been here long enough that anything I'm familiar with -

Ditto on that in most cases, especially from where I was at when I arrived here.

It varies. As near as I can tell, she's a fangirl.

If you've never had to deal with them, you're probably lucky, even though she's far from the most terrifying specimen I've seen; there's some of them I'd LOATHE to see with powers like this.

If she were just prone to fluff and "comedy" - where the worst that happens is destruction of dignity - it'd be relatively easy, but she also has a love of dramatics and occasionally binges on less friendly genres.

Her "plots" usually run on weekly cycles, although some of them last for more than one week; it being October, I'd advise caution - this week there's hauntings that seem relatively benign for most, compared to what they could be, but last week everyone was struck by some manifestation of something they were afraid of, and god knows what she'll do as Halloween draws closer.

There's a group of volunteers that've been trying to the best of our abilities to do damage control when the more dangerous plots come up, but organization past a point is an exercise in futility - not only are people periodically sent home and always arriving, but people are from all different sorts of worlds and times, so attempting to establish one set of inviolate laws invariably ends up running into problems with everyone having different standards of "Normal and 'legal'/acceptable", or setting something up that ends up persecuting someone just for having a DIFFERENT standard of such whether they're a real danger to others or not.

There's also a good number of powerful people here who haven't been able to get out - including one of the people who'd be one of the first ones I'd think of being capable of doing something like this, even temporarily ...and he seems just as trapped as the rest of us.

I'm really hoping the door with just "God" on the nameplate is kidding, but I'm not sure I want to gamble on it.

Sorry about that - I do fall into rambling sometimes.

My name is Saguru Hakuba, and depressingly enough, I'm nearing my year anniversary here.

Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Hakuba. And that is quite depressing.

But I am glad you are 'rambling', you're giving me information right off the bat so I don't rediscover things.

I saw that room also, and I don't want to gamble on it either.

So, the question is, what do we do now. We're stuck in a situation with the cause of the trouble is outside of our grasps.

There's a few who've been here longer - but it's not reliable; I've known some people to only be here for a few weeks.

I need to contact one of the other volunteers about an update - we'd had something drawn up with information and a list of who to go to for various problems, but it's a bit out of date; information seems to be the easiest preventative measure to unnecessary harm... help the people that might be reflexively dangerous out of confusion calm down, and the people that might walk into something unwittingly know what to look out for.

May I see the out of date version?

Since this was written the grounds have expanded slightly - there's now an ocean area and a desert, both of which pull the "teleport back to your room" if you get too far.

We've had some people disappear and come back later - sometimes they remember this place, sometimes they don't, and one case where I'm beginning to wonder if she's always grabbing the same "version" and not occasionally missing and hitting alternate timelines.

The official "police force" basically dissolved in a power struggle into the group of volunteers I'd mentioned, but random homicides and the like are still not advised and will get a response.

Dende and Hatori are no longer here; Alexstrasza has volunteered to help with healing.

The three people listed for repair are no longer here, but we have gained Megamind, who rebuilt the generator when it was destroyed.

"Welcoming Committee" has been a looser mess of whoever has some experience and is willing to field questions - although I've been asking that anyone who notices a new arrival who's disoriented in the "reflexively dangerous" vein leave them to me, as I have prior experience with dealing with such without getting harmed myself and getting the situation at least to where, if it's possible with them, they won't be blaming or attacking random bystanders.

Iroh is still here and is a perfectly good person to go to.

As for the "defense force" types, I do help with coordination where I can - I don't have any special combat abilities, but I can survive, and am normally a detective, although my situation here is more diplomatic. Tom Hanson, Mikami Teru, and Ichabod Crane are still here and involved of those listed; we also have Trisana Chandler, Dean Winchester, Heiji Hattori, and a few others that've been acting on their own to protect others who I haven't actually met yet; also Charles Xavier and Emma Frost who help with that - you could probably raise either of them by thinking about them loud enough.
