[Well someone is looking rather angry on this fine morning (though that's probably not surprising to ANYONE at this point) clad in a toga he managed to get on, albeit rather sloppily.]

Alright, who's the fucktard who though it would be real funny shit to take the Italian's clothes and get him to wear a toga? I swear when I find you I'm going to-

[Then he opens the door to his room and abruptly went silent as he looks up and down the hall. Oh god, they couldn't ACTUALLY be in...

Hayato then seems to completely stop caring about the feed on the blackberry as he rushes outside and what he sees makes his jaw drop. It takes him a moment to realize he's still recording, and he brings his attention back to the blackberry.]

... uh hey... I know I've told a few of you that I'd show you around Italy sometime. Well, welcome to Italy... about 2000 years before I was born...

[He happily trots over and plops next to her on the bed, looking up her like she is clearly the most interesting thing in the world.

Because right now she so is.]

So, where are you from? Who made you?

I'm from a world called Halloween Town. My creator was doctor Finkelstein. He wanted me to stay in the lab and cook and clean, things like that, but I get restless. I can't help it, I just... I like the town. I like being out. [she likes being free, and she likes Jack.]

So he made you to be like a servant, but you have a free will all your own... THAT'S AMAZING!

So, where is Halloween Town exactly?

[She looks a little surprised that he thinks it's amazing. The only person who'd ever really talked about that part of her life was Dr. Finkelstein, and he didn't exactly share that opinion.] R-really? You think so?

Uhh... I'm not really sure. It's not in the human world, and we can reach the other holidays through the doors, but... [there's a small shrug]

[He nods enthusiastically... granted, he was doing everything enthusiastically right now...]

Yeah! I mean, it's an amazing breakthrough creating artificial life in and of itself, but for you to take up a will of your own?! It's... it's just so COOL!

[Because vocabulary was never his thing and finding words to describe the sheer awesomeness of Sally's existence alone is enough to go above an beyond what his brain is capable of producing.

and then...oh... wait... SHOCK.]

O-other holidays?! Wait... so all that shit is real?!

B-breakthrough? Well... I mean... there's always things like that going on. It's not a new thing...

[But then she looks surprised. Why wouldn't he think they're real?] of course they are! Where do you think the holidays come from?

[He thinks for a moment]

So that must mean your world is more advanced then mine is in that sense....

[And her surprise feeds his surprise so now it's just a big ball of 'wait, what?']

I-I just thought it was all a bunch of crap that came from old religious contexts that just kept going because someone figured out how to make a quick buck off it.

[He paused and looked down rubbing his neck and chuckling awkwardly]

uh... sorry, I guess that was kind of morbid of me... I never really paid much mind to holidays...

Oh, I don't mind. Many children grow out of believing, we just have to provide for the next lot of children that do believe. It's what we live for, after all.

Well, kind of. We could live without the children believing, but.... we spend all year getting the next halloween ready, and out halloween citizens don't understand much else. [She remembers how un-understanding the others had been at the town hall meeting. She didn't get the christmas thing completely, but she had known it wasn't like they had been saying with heads in the presents and stuff like that.]

[Well her assurance was a bit of a relief. He still felt sort of bad... after all, his view on the world was far more morbid than most, and he wasn't always sure how to keep that in check.]

All year huh? So you guys do stuff for other countries too? And it is just Halloween? Or do you do stuff for all souls day too?

[She looks deeply thoughtful] We do a Halloween for everyone, and it's just Halloween.

[He nods and goes back to his dorky beaming smile]

So what's it like where you live? Y'know, what are the people like and stuff!

[She can't exactly give the fullest answer, but she describes the town basically, and gives a rough description of the towns occupants, finishing with oogy boogy and her voise sounding like talking about him left a bad taste in her mouth. But then it drops, and there's a small smile from her.]

And then there's Jack. He's the pumpkin king, which is one of his many names. He's the leader of our town - even the mayor says so. He's just... just... he's so terrifying. [But that is said like it's a very good thing rather than bad. and if one thing is clear? She is carry more than just a very big torch for him.]

Pumpkin king?

[He thinks for a moment, the fact that they have a king would imply a monarchy... but a mayor too? Maybe it was set up like England? Only the King still has power? Regardless this was an amazing discovery!]

That's just so....I dunno! Awesome doesn't even start to explain it! Entire civilizations centered around holidays! While I had a theory that there was some supernatural basis to the lore I had no idea it was so extensive!

[He let's out a sigh]

I wish you guys ran the Halloween here rather than the author...

[Her head tilts slightly, and she looks puzzled. and a touch concerned.] Oh? Did you not have fun?

N-no... Well I did get to see my mom for one of the plots but...

[He squirms a bit uncomfortably, he didn't know how he was going to take it if the Author pulled a stunt like that next October, providing he was still there.]

Most of the plots were pretty dangerous...
