[Kio's looking for Bones again, poking around the wrecked buildings. It's been two days since he saw her last and he's hoping she's still alive. He wants to take her to the Safe House, or at least make sure that the radiation hasn't killed her.]

[It has started to rain but Kio isn't going inside without her.]

[Jack's face was looking up at the sky as the rain was coming down and shakes his head from the burn. He starts running for the nearest building.]

Not good.

[He wipes his face and looks at the caller once he finds shelter.]

Oi!! Might be in your best interest to get out of the raining acid!

[Kio turned and squinted through the rain at Jack]

[He shrugs and puts his hand out from under the awning.]

Oh!! It was only just a little hot....but it's cold...and...is that normal?

[He's been to the north before, he's just never has anything like this happen.]

How can you stand it!? Ice one minute, hot the next. The weather can't make up it's mind! It's worse than a woman in a market place!

No, mate. Simply the flighty can't make up its mind and the weather meets the flighty since it can't make up its mind. This Author person can't make up its mind, which stands the reason why we are never in the same place twice for more than a few days, eh?

[Bones had been wandering around a little aimlessly for a while. She'd been here for 4 days now. If there was radiation, she was far too late to save her own life or anyone elses. She had been feeling fine, but she also knew that the effect of radiation would take several more days to metastisise.

Hearing her nickname being yelled, she looks up, and frowns, before cupping her hands around her mouth]

I'm near the bridge-!

[Kio squinted in the direction she indicated as the storm intensified. Covering his head with his hands he raced off to find her. Once he reached the end of the bridge he slowed to a brisk walk]

Tempu-chan, Temperance, she told me we were going to die a few days ago and I just want to make sure she's still okay, because, well, I haven't even felt sick yet. And I was worried and when I heard the rain start I wanted to make sure that she's okay...

She said this place is completely radiated. Or whatever the word is. And that there's no way to stop it. But no one's even gotten sick yet. I don't know what it means.

It usually only hangs around when something big happens with it. I'm not exactly a scientist or doctor so I couldn't tell ya how us wandering around in it will work or why we're not dead or dying just yet.
