[Mamimi is wandering through the streets of Pripyat with no real destination in mind. She's walking down the middle of the street humming vaguely to herself and smoking. She stops every so often and takes a few pictures with her camera, a bulky relic possibly older than she is. She kneels in the middle of the street to change the film, winding the roll all the way back before pressing in the release on the bottom and opening the back. Feel free to interrupt her as she performs this delicate operation.]

[Alright so that's a bit of a lie, but she's trying so hard...and she's just so tiny... he just isn't evil enough to crush all her hopes... yet]

[She pauses, her hands falling to her sides. She's obviously trying to think of what to do. A fighter Mamimi is not.]

[Piccolo chuckles and shakes his head. Time for a little scare tactic lesson, he disappears for a moment and reappears RIGHT in front of Mamimi and launches a punch right at her face. However he stops it just as his knuckles graze the tip of he nose.]

If you need to think on how you're going to attack keep your stance up, or your opponent will take advantage of the opening.

[Piccolo straightens up and takes a step back]

[Mamimi screams and blocks her face with her hands. When he doesn't hit her she peers around them, looking confusedly up at him. Then she nods frankly]

[Well, maybe a scare tactic wasn't exactly the best way to teach her a lesson. If she were ever facing some powerful she was probably fully capable of shrieking them into submission. He cupped an ear sorely but quickly shook it off. and was that honestly a block? well he knew what to work on next]

Alright kid, let's try some blocking. Covering your face like that only only impairs your vision and you'll probably end up just getting you're fingers broken as they're punched into your face. If you need to block an attack to the face cross you're forearms in front of you like this.

[Piccolo throws a (very) light punch at Mamimi, pleased when she holds her stance]

[No, he does not think so. Not at all. But he's going to beat around the bush and quite possibly lie.]

No matter how strong you get kid, there will ALWAYS be someone stronger. Which is why sometimes it's better to fight with this-

[He chuckles, oh what an adorable little misunderstanding. Well it looks like the small hope he had of her being smart kinda just flickered out right there.]

What I mean is to use your wits. There are plenty of strong opponents out there, and they will probably be far stronger then you, however with a little ingenuity and planning they can usually either be defeated or subdued long enough to flee.

[She slings her bag around and removes an opaque plastic canister and a book of matches.]

I'm a follower of the black flame.

[She grins almost maniacally]

A fire starter.

[Piccolo thinks it over for a bit. He has no clue what the black flame is and honestly he doesn't really care. But if she knew how to use fire to alter terrain to a tactical advantage, she could be quite useful]

So how do you use it?

[The canister was a paint bottle in another life, so it has a top that can squeeze out a narrow steam. Now it holds fuel. Mamimi draws a spiral on the ground, away from anything that might catch. She's experienced so the center has the most fuel with a descending amount the further out the tail goes. She places the fuel bottle on the ground, safe from anything that might ignite. She strikes a match and drops it on the outer point of the tail. The whole thing erupts into flame. It isn't black, it's just a regular fire]

[Piccolo looks on with a hint of admiration. The fire was controlled, yet the supplies were mobile and quick to set up. It would not take much to teach her to use the flames for a tactical defense]

That's pretty damn good kid. Do you have any experience doing this as a form of defense?

Well, not exactly. But I've used it to destroy things before.

Alright now here's where using that brain of yours comes into play. Tell me: Say there were three enemies coming after you. On is coming from the East, one from the West and one from the North. You're in a city like this. You've got a few moments before they arrive. What do you do?

I got it!

[She pulls something else out of her bag, a capped can of hairspray in a Zip-Lock bag. She uncaps it and holds it in front of her, a look of extreme concentration on her face.]

I do this to whichever one is closest.

[She clicks on her BIC again and sends a steady hissing jet of hairspray into the flickering flame. Lo-and-behold, a flamethrower.]
