§ Assignment 2 § - Pripyat // The Safe house
[Ienzo is curled up in a rather tight ball near the fire. He knows the lesser the surface area the more likely you are to stay warm, the fact he looks pathetic is just an annoying by-product of keeping warm. He winces as he keeps wiggling his toes and fingers to keep the blood circulation going. It's not good. His mind is foggy and all he can think about is just sleeping. If he can holdd on just a little longer he'll make himself ask (in his own way) one of the adults for something to eat. Yes, the less calories you have in your system the colder you are, but at this point they needed to ration food, he understood this much.
He gives another shiver as he grimaces. He always hated being cold. This situation only made him realise more how much more he missed his home and his new family. He refuses to cry, if he does then it'll only make him expend more heat.]

..You know, hot chocolate has many health benefits. For example, it has more antioxidants than wine and tea, and therefore reduces the risk of heart disease. But, it's also pretty bad for your teeth, and is very high in mono-saturated sugar and fat

He picks up the mug and tilts his head at her. She doesn't smell like she's a bad person. So he can at least vaguely relax around her. Even if she sucks at conversation..but hey, what's a child who refuses to make conversation to judge?
He shifts closer to her, huddling for heat and nods. He knew it...but who would believe a child of the age of ten is that intelligent?
He tilts his head at her, silently asking her name.]
[In Person]
Sorry, I - you looked like you needed something to warm you up.
[Another minute passes without response]
..My name's Temperance..well, Dr. Temperance Brennan, but, my friends call me Temperence.

He takes a sip of the chocolate in the meantime, it's delicious, not completely substantial, but he knew that humans could last a week or so without food, so a few more hours wouldn't kill him. He offers her what looks like a /slight/ smile. By his standards at least, there's just a mild twitch at the sides of his mouth.]

Ienzo..oh! Is that your name? I see..well, it's nice to meet you
[She holds out a gloved hand]

So small. He was almost reminded of Vivi. He sighed. He cold take it. He was an adult after all. And used to roughing all kinds of climates. He let the blanket he had wrapped around him slide off of his shoulders and covered the kid with it.]

He relaxes and raises a brow at him, glancing from Zidane to the blanket and back again.]

Underneath he wrote: I'm a mute.
Even if it wasn't really 100% true, he just didn't like talking that much.]

He read the writing and nodded to show he understood. He wasn't sure what to say about the muteness. That it sucked? Nah, he would just treat the kid like he would any normal person. "Nice to meet you, Ienzo. Are you in this place by yourself?"]

Hardly what an already deeply troubled child needed ontop of his own issues.
Ienzo then glances to the...boy with the monkey tail, as though returning the question.]

He added the last bit cheerfully. That was the only bright side to this mess after all. ]

People were such curious things..
He then writes a small note that just reads:]
I left my Master and work behind. We were in the middle of conducting an important experiment.
