{08} The Manor!! [Video]
[The dandy candy maker certainly looked refreshed. Only a scant few saw him at the previous trip and that one person isn't here anymore. He saw the name vanish from the list of contacts on his Blackberry. He wasn't about to let that keep him down.
He opened his door and looked down the hall. He quickly ran back inside his room and looked out the window then back out his door again. A grin came to his lips and an idea came to him. If he was going to announce it or not wasn't decided just yet....until his door got a mind of its own and pushed him into the hallway.]
Hey! That's not very nice.
[His eyes widened when he finally noticed the cobwebs.]
Ooh! I have a lot of work to do.
[And off he ran to work in the kitchen.]

Geez. Timing's very poor. Don't come over here.

[At least she didn't have many layers to put on..]
[In Person]
[The sound of metal clinked against plastic sounded as he struggled to get his layers on but the biggest issue was getting them on as fast as possible without looking like he lost his clothes to begin with. He had to stand up to tuck in his shirt but kept his back to her. The sound of rubber from his gloves was the next to be heard. And those gloves were up to his elbows.]
I'm decent.
[He bent down to pick up his coat and top hat.]
Yeesh, talk about an awkward situation.
[In Person]
Tell me about it..this is the second time this week for me.
[In Person]
[He finishes off his dressing and is now putting on his dress boots which thankfully were easy to slip on.]
I suppose that it could have been much worse. At least you didn't have to...well...you know.
[His face is a little red at the statement. He was glad that she didn't have to see him in such a vulnerable state.]
[In Person]
The feeling's mutual, trust me.
[In Person]
[His hands shook as he put on his cuff links. His smile faded as he worked the cuffs.]
[In Person]
I guess we have to be more careful. I just hope it's only a week this time
[In Person]
[He lifted his face toward the ceiling and gave a quick exhale.]
Talk about being caught with your pants down....literally.
[In Person]
Tell me about it..anyway, the chocolate stuff looks like it could use your attention
[She gestures to the pan of half-made chocolate]

[His smile returned and moved toward the bowl. The chocolate was about to solidify so he had to be quick. Since it was a large bowl, it was beginning to at the surface and stirring was difficult.]
Wow, this is tough. Time to put it over hot water.
[He turned on the water to boil.]

This might sound stupid, but what do you do with the models once you've finished them? Surely eating that much would make you ill?
[In Person]
I set them out for people to enjoy, of course. I never eat the stuff by myself. That's just silly. Most of the time, I just make it for fun and I'll never have a bite.
[In Person]
It's never good when a cook doesn't eat his or her own food. Usually it means it's poisoned~
[Her tone is playful, although she is curious to know why he never eats any himself
[In Person]
[He takes a spoon and tastes it and sets it down to continue mixing.]
See? Nothing to worry about.
[In Person]
[In Person]
[He takes out a clean spoon and hands it to her.]
This way, I check for texture and if it's too course or grainy, I have to keep mixing.
[In Person]
..Okay, now I see why you got into ths industry..this is amazing~
[In Person]
[He beams a smile.]
I've done a lot of research in my youth and here's a little secret. Love what you do and what you do will love you back. I know it sounds a bit Confucius, but really the biggest reason why some things don't work is because there's no heart in it. Anyone can make anything but making it lasting and memorable, that's a mark of a true craftsman.
[In Person]
Very true. I've never been good at making anything like this, but I know what you mean
