pretty much, all you do is hit the ball with a bat and see how far you can send it. Like this.

Then the other team tries to catch it while you run to first base and if you can second and third- and if you hit it straight out of bounds it's a home run.

If the other team catches the ball before it hits the ground or tags the base before you can get there then it's an out.
