Twenty Second Entry ☼ Elizabeth ☼ Ghosts from the past [In person]

[If anyone happens to be in the garden, they might run into Elizabeth. She's out walking, despite the weather, and if anyone looks closely they'll also see a figure walking with her. Every so often, she'll turn her head and speak to the other woman, and occasionally, her voice will become raised. At one point, she stops in her tracks, and looks as if she's shouting at the woman, the woman silently shouting right back]

[Iroh's been outside as well. He's walking with his hands behind his back, frowning as he listens to the ghost next to him, a handsome young man dressed similarly to Iroh.]

Good evening, Elizabeth. Is everything alright?

[She turns her attention from her Mothers ghost, who also looks over at Iroh]

Good evening. Yes, everything's fine..how are you?

Very well, all things considered.

[The ghost of his son stands beside Iroh, hands folded together.]

[Elizabeth dips a small curtsey to the young man stood behind Iroh]

I'm glad. Who is this?

[She gestures to the younger man]

My son, Lu Ten.

[The ghost bows to Elizabeth.]

And who is accompanying you?

[She glances at the young woman behind her]

This is Lady Anne Boleyn..my mother

[What's stranger is that Elizabeth is now older then Anne..]

A pleasure. [Iroh doesn't comment on the age difference between the two women.]

I suppose we should consider ourselves fortunate that the Author has decided to reunite us with our departed family members.

[At least, Iroh's somewhat pleased. He gets sense that Elizabeth isn't.]

[She's beyond happy that she finally got to meet her mother, and ask the questions that had been a burden to her for so many years.

However, what she didn't appreciate was being told who she could and couldn't be involved with. Of all people, she thought Anne would understand that]

Yes, I suppose that's true

[She gives Iroh a sympathetic smile - although it was a parent she had lost and not a child, she still felt for him]

[Ed pokes her head out of a bush and next to her a second spectral head emerges. This belongs to a young boy with huge translucent eyes and a dusting of asomatous freckles. He mouths something to Ed]

Fighting?

[Hearing some rustling in the bushes, Elizabeth turns swiftly, and soon spots Ed's mess of red hair poking out of one of the shrubs.

She softens her expression and her tone of voice]

Hello Edward - what're you doing in there?

Paul and Edward are exploring!

[She grins at her ghost friend, who gives her a smile back.]

Aaah, I see. And have you found anything exciting?

[Elizabeth gives Paul a small curtsey, giving him a smile. Anne just watches the two children curiously]

This is a big garden; I'm sure you'll come across lots of things

Not yet. But Ed and Paul are still looking!

[Paul nods, but he seems pretty taken by Ed and overwhelmed by her excitement]

[Ignoring whatever her ghost just muttered, Elizabeth just smiles]

[And then she pops back into the bush and disappears]
