[She was glad he didn't argue, but the bite hurt more than she had anticipated. But, she held herself still, allowing him to take what he needed. She hated what the Author had done, most likely not only to him, but to other residents as well. Making them drink from each other was just..barbaric. This was by far the worst situation they had been placed in.
When he pulled away, she quickly placed her other hand over the twin wounds, as they continued to bleed.
She noticed the change in his tone, and was glad that he felt better. She however, didn't feel as well as she had before. But, she told herself she'd be fine momentarily, and gave him a reassuring smile]
