Twenty Fourth entry ☼ Elizabeth ☼ So far so good..[In person]
[For anyone wandering about, they might bump into Elizabeth as she's descending the staircase. She was busy thinking about her Mother, or rather, the ghost that she'd been putting up with all of last week. As spiteful as she had been, it had also been a great pleasure and privelege for Elizabeth for her to finally meet the woman she'd only heard cruel stories about. Either way, the secret Anne had told her late last night also had her mind distracted.
But, she was pleased that, so far, nothing seemed out of the ordinary..]

The body needs iron..? What do you mean?
[Yeah, nutrition is kinda lost on her ^^;;]
[In Person]
I have read once, since the same creatures that I have become began to enter the Manor as residents, that a mineral such as iron can be supplemented as pills to sustain the body. This same mineral is also found in broccoli and spinach.
[He held out his hand for her to take just in case she needed it.]

She accepts his hand gratefully]
I'll have to take your word for it - I've never known food to do anything other than satisfy hunger

[He seems to be back to normal now personality wise though still very much vampiric by physiology. The bright light seems to bother him and with the lack of need to sleep, he'll have to find another method to rest.]
Ah, another note of interest that I have come to realize that I am no longer human is the coffin in my room replacing the bed. A rather disturbing thought by the very nature of the chapters the Author intends to write.
[He looks over his shoulder slightly and tries to manage a smile without showing his elongated canines.]

A..coffin? How..grim..
[For lack of a better word. But, despite this apparent obstacle, Elizabeth was glad to see Ichabod again - they hadn't seen much of each other over the past week or so, and she was glad she was now.
She notices his fangs, but doesn't comment on them - she still wasn't entirely sure what the Author was thinking, but it wasn;t her place to judge the effects of her plots. He was still him, regardless of what the Author did to him]

I must have been relatively wealthy when I transversed from one to the other.
[He slowly walked with her to the kitchen and has remained relatively objective and slightly now fascinated with his current physical state. He let out a yelp when his foot lightly passed through the sun's rays that spilled through the main hall.]
Ow!
[He looked down to see his ankle was smoldering and his eyes widened.]
And a damned creature I have become to be so undeserving of the life-giving sun.
