Scath 4 § Raven § Vampuric Tendencies [Accidental Video]

[The feed shows Raven at her mirror, examining her now elongated canines. If this was for real, she wasn't looking forward to the days ahead. However, the hunger she was feeling confirmed her fears. Stepping away from the mirror, she pulls her hood up to protect herself from the suddenly garish sunlight streaming through the curtains. Sitting on her bed, she closes her eyes, and starts to meditate, telling herself she can ignore the hunger.

She wasn't sure for how long, but she was going to try]

[Dende was frantically running through the halls, he had a feeling his brother was gone, but he didn't want to admit it. And that's when he came across the timely arrival of Raven door. He frantically starts banging on it.]

RAVEN! RAVEN!

[The banging snapped her out of her meditative state, and made her get up hurriedly and open the door on the green child]

Dende? What's wrong?

[You have opened the doors to a sobby little green baby who's lookin' at you with big teary eye's... good luck with that.]

C-cargo's gone! I-I can't find him a-anywhere! R-Raven i-is he with you?!

[She just blinks at him for a moment, before going to pick him up. However, she soon realizes that he smells...good. Not that she's going to let him know that, so she picks him up anyway, and sets him down on the bed, trying to ignore the hunger]

No, he isn't..was he following you around last week..?

[Dende nods]

Uh-huh! N-now he's gone! He might be l-lonely, o-or scared a-all b-b-by himself!

[Clearly it is the other way around, Dende]

[She sighs, and sits next to him, putting an arm around him. She was restraining herself wth more ease than she gave herself credit for; she'd been restraining her emotions for years. This wasn't much differen]

Listen..I had someone following me as well, but they're gone as well..

[Sod it. She doesn't have the heart to tell him the truth]

..They probably went home. I don't think he's alone - maybe, since everyone had someone with them, they're all together somewhere. Okay? So don't worry

B-but why w-w-would he leave me alone? We n-never were apart, not until he got... until he got...

[and some more crying]

[Gaah..crying children..Children alone she can just about handle, but crying ones? She rubs his little shoulder gently, before picking him up and pulling him onto her lap]

It's okay..it's gonna be okay..

[Dende just cries on her lap for a while. After some time he begins to calm down.]

Miss Raven...d-do you really Cargo's okay?

[She nods, giving him a smile]

I'm sure of it - so, no more of this, okay?

[She says this as she thumbs away an escaped tear]

[Dende manages a small, meek, snivelly smile. and nods.]

O-okay... do you think he'll come back Miss Raven?

[She glances away; she didn't want to keep lying to him, but what else could she do?]

I can't say for sure..but I don't see why not

[Dende's smile gets even broader, not catching onto the lie at all.]

Oh I can't wait! Miss Raven! I'll introduce him to you! He can be a bit of a pain sometimes, but he's not all bad!

[She gives him a smile, happy to see him not upset anymore]

I want to meet him - he sounds like a lot of fun

Miss Raven do you have any siblings?

[Dende wondered how human siblings worked. He had about 150 or so, but he knew that humans worked differently then Namekian in how they had children]

No..No I don't. It was just me. I wish I did though - I would have liked to have a sister

[Said with a slight smile, even though sudden thoughts of her mother and her home made her want to do the exact opposite]

Sister? What's a sister? Um if you really want you can share Cargo with me! Like I said he can be a real pain, and kind of mean, it's not all his fault though. He's just bratty little kid, but I have to watch out for him because I'm his big brother!

[Dende obviously takes great pride in his duty to take care of his little brother. Even if he makes it sound as though Cargo is the most annoying little thing ever.]

A sister is a female sibling

[Her smile widens at his childish generosity. He really was very cute, although she probably would never tell him]

No, it's fine - but thank you for offering. He's your brother, I wouldn't want to take him away

Oh! I don't have any sisters... but I got a lot of brothers. Cargo is just my closest. If you change your mind, I don't mind sharing him!
