3rd Horror || Heather Morris [Accidental Video]
[The feed cuts in sideways, on the ground, back against a wall of shubbery. There is the image of Heather sitting on the ground, knees to her chest, with her head down and her arms over her head. In one fist she has a piece of paper crumpled tightly. She trembles and her shoulders heave.
She's sobbing.]
D-Dad...
[Elric the African wild dog sits beside her, whimpering and nudging her head with his snout.]
She's sobbing.]
D-Dad...
[Elric the African wild dog sits beside her, whimpering and nudging her head with his snout.]
[In Person]
[And now she's in a bro-hug. :3 She tenses at first, but then hugs him back, a bit awkwardly.]
[In Person]
Here, figured you'd wanna drive her round. [He grins some, eased once again already guessing the fact she'd drive the Headsplitter around would help her mood some.]
[In Person]
Really? I can do that? [She takes the keys and looks at the Headsplitter, which... Elric has already hopped into.] What the hell, who said you're coming?
I go where you go, remember? [Elric yawns.]
Ugh, really? I wanted Eddie to come instead, and there's not room for all of us!
[In Person]
I can just watch, I know if we leave Elric behind you'd probably not be able to focus on drivin' anywhere. Gotta keep your talking soul animals close. I sent Anvil away an nearly had a frickin' heart attack. [He frowns a little at that, but waves it off.] But, that's besides the point, just drive. I'll watch.
I don't know about this...
Psh, it'll be fine. [He fluffles Anvil's feathers some as reassurance. It earning the best frown she can give.]
[In Person]
Think of it this way. You don't want your soul straying too far from your body, do ya? That doesn't work out well for anyone.
I guess he has a point... Well. I guess I'll give it a shot. [Anything to get her mind off the letter. She climbs into the Headsplitter's driver's seat and turns on the ignition. ... It works!]
Heeey, doing good so far!
[In Person]
Are you sure this is a good idea?
[Eddie once again waves his hand in a dismissive manner. The roadie not looking very worried in comparison to his Toucan.]
[In Person]
Unfortunately, she's taking a little longer than she should on learning the steering. And the lake looms up ahead. And the only speed she can figure out is FAST.]
Uh... uh... Heather!
I see it, I see it, it's fine. Hold on...
[Noooope, still headed right for the lake. If anything, they're going faster.]
ABANDON SHIP! ABANDON SHIP! ABANDON--
[Heather leaps out at the last second, followed by Elric. Unfortunately, neither of them are fast enough to reach land, and they both go splashing into the lake. There's a few seconds of silence and then they both surface, coughing and sputtering.]
[In Person]
...That went a lot less stellar than I was expecting.
I-I told you! [Is choked out between squawking laughs. Eddie shakes his head at Anvil while she tries not to fall off his shoulder via laughter.]
You two alright?
[In Person]
Heather rolls up onto the bank and chuckles her stomach.] I'm s-s-sorry! [In between giggles.] Can you get it out?!
[In Person]
Yeah, I can get it, I built her pretty tough. A little water shouldn't be a problem. [With that Eddie slides off his vest, shoes being kicked off and his axe meeting the grass with a solid thump. He starts heading towards the lake not caring that he'll probably be drenched from it.
Anvil manages to gather her senses back together when she figures out what Eddie's initial plan is.]
You wouldn't-
I would. [He grins. It making the Toucan stare at him. It ruined entirely as Eddie wades into the water, Anvil taking flight uncertainly flying over head obviously not a fan of large bodies of water from the faces she's making.]
Re: [In Person]
[It would be 100% badass if he could!]
[In Person]
[He walks out a little further, taking a deep breath and diving in, the car in a spot between the shallow end and deep end. Anvil flutters over head worriedly, watching the water.
It takes a moment or two, before the engine revs, the headlights clicking on under the water and the Headsplitter slowly starts to back up. Eddie in the drivers seat, soaked to the bone but looking pleased as he gets it back onto the shore.]
Re: [In Person]
[But she's cut off because he disappears and reemerges, driving the Headsplitter out of the lake.]
Holy. Shit. [She can't help it. She claps.]
That's pretty damn badass, Eddie Riggs.
[In Person]
Might have to replace the seats though, maybe. [He gets out of the car, opting to yank his shirt off, wringing it out.]
Maybe? I would be surprised if you didn't have to replace it!
[In Person]
I'm damp.
Yeah, yeah, so am I. [She runs her hand through her saturated hair.] Maybe we should all go in and dry off.
[In Person]
Eddie spares her a look, throwing his shirt at her. It landing with a wet sound while Anvil gives an aggravated squawk.] Drying off sounds like the thing to do, considering all of us are soaked.
[Anvil manages to get the shirt off, GLARING at Eddie while he dig through his pockets to find a hair tie, pulling his hair into a loose pony tail, picking up what he dropped on the grass earlier. He sliding on his vest, axe and shoes.]
[In Person]
[She opts to take OFF her boots -- no use sloshing all the way back to the manor, and starts heading that way in bare feet.]
[In Person]
[In Person]
[She tiptoes across the grass in her bare feet, holding on to her boots with her fingers.]
[In Person]
At least I know what yer gettin' me for any special event, hair ribbons.
[In Person]
[In Person]
Don't mind me if I disagree with you on that, I'm not exactly big on putting my hair up, specially since its not very metal.
[In Person]
[In Person]
That, that was metal.
[In Person]
Oh yeah. So metal.
