007 | Sebastian Michaelis [In Person]

[Sebastian's been amused at best by the plot this week. He's deemed all these "monsters" mediocre at best. He has simply being enjoying watching the others react with fear or dread. Other than that, it's business as usual.

That is, until he turns a corner and runs into what looks like the world's angriest feminist. He freezes, knowing he recognizes her from somewhere.

Ah, yes. That quaint story Soma and Agni told. Anyone with knowledge of Indian mythology will recognize her; the necklace of male heads is difficult to forget. It's the goddess Kali, known for her destructive fury... and her ability to slay demons.

They look at each for a long second, until she speaks to him in a low, threatening voice.

Unfortunately to any passersby, she's speaking in Hindi; as a demon, however, Sebastian can understand her.
]

Spawn of Raktabija, I shall devour you as well!

...

[Sebastian hastily ducks back behind the corner. He has no desire to tempt a god renowned for slaying demons, even the Author's rendition of one.]

[Legato was about to say of course, because, though Sebastian was not his master, he was a higher being, at least in Legato's opinion.

At the offer, however, he instead said, 'Worth my while?'

['And how do you intend to make it "Worth my while"?' Legato was not stupid, should the demon have something useful to offer, it made little sense to turn him down.]

[There is a noticeable pause as Legato considers this. At first it seemed obvious what his desire was - or should be. But then, if he thought about what he truly wanted...

'Are you able to provide me with an idea of what is "Within your power?"'

[He hesitates, carefully considering his words. 'If, for example, I wanted to no longer be human.']

['I assumed as much.' How disappointing. Though he would have had to contemplate such a thing before doing it any way. What was the point if his Master didn't want to keep him around anyway?

'Perhaps you can assist me in finding my way out of this place. I have things I must take care of for my master, things, that I am now unable to do here.'

['I see.' If she was young, she was likely manipulable.

'I shall see what I learn from the Plot Bunny. If you have need to contact me in the meantime, just think my name. I don't like those communicators.']
