[Zidane is sitting on the steps outside with a red and green Tribble in his lap, a grey Tribble on his head and not to mention the two black ones that are trying to climb up his back, plus the three white ones at his feet. He doesn't look afraid but he looks slightly annoyed. Actually he loves animals, but he doesn't want to be out in public seen cuddling fur balls.]

[The manor wasn't as bad as it could have been thankfully. He enjoyed the grounds the most as he only saw such greenery in Bhujerba. Spotting Zidane covered in tribbles he can't help but silently chuckle.]

They appear to have taken quite a liking to you.

Yeah, they sure new a softie when they saw one. Why couldn't it be that women could automatically pick up whatever it was animals sensed about him and come over to cuddle? He smirked inwardly at his own thoughts. Dagger would laugh if she could see this.

"I guess they wanted the attention." he replied. He made note of Larsa's clothes. Noble. Might not be from his world, but the clothes weren't totally foreign like Piccolo's. Though he was pleasantly surprised the boy would talk to someone so clearly different from his social standing. He stood up, careful to gently displace the tribbles (who then collectively started piling at his feet.) He should introduce himself.

"I'm Zidane."

I cannot say I blame them. Everything requires company.

[Larsa smiles warmly and offers a hand, making it a point to not mention his status, after all being Emperor of Ivalice didn't really mean much here.]

It's a pleasure; I am Larsa Ferrinas Solidor.

"I guess so." he agreed. "Being dumped here is bad enough, but being dumped here alone would be a nightmare."

He accepted the kid's hand. Well even if he was a noble he wasn't bad. Not stuck up at all. Kind of reminded him of Dagger. He returned the smile. "Well met. Have you been in this place for a long time?"

Then I suppose in some way the Author is more merciful than many are giving her credit for. Then again I could also be wrong...

I've been here for just under a month now. What about yourself?

"I wouldn't call her merciful - I'd just call us lucky." he replied, glaring, but not a Larsa. At whatever unseen force is responsible for this mess. "I've been here for about that amount of time too. The only upshot is that my most annoying problem is here too, so at least I can keep an eye on it."

Mm, I know what you mean.

I'm quite the opposite, I need to be back at my home world. My people need me right now...

Though I must ask, who your problem is, if it wouldn't be so bold as for me to ask?

"The world I'm from is only safe because my problem is here - that problem being my enemy, Kuja." Zidane replied. "He'd still be running around causing chaos at home and I would be stuck here."

[Larsa nods.]
