[When the Bunny appears on the screen he does not look pleased. The reason is obvious, the Author has decided to dress him up. He has a cone shaped hat, like a witch's, but instead of the usual black it's all yellow. He has a red-orange shirt and pants on that're a little too tight, all four legs poke out thickly. On his tail is a white little bonnet. If you look down at him from above the costume makes him look like a large furry piece of candy corn.]

Alright, it's easy enough this week the Author kept it short. "Happy Halloween everyone! Here's my treat to you!" That's all she wrote. If you don't have any questions I'm out of here.

[Meirin + tray full of porcelain + hot tea can be a formula for disaster under the best of circumstances. But this week? A certain genius might have to apply the burn cream to her before it's all over with. Ahem.

The tea cups rattle on the tray as she takes tiny steps down the hall. Fog from the aptly named fog machine in the corner curls around her ankles, making her even more paranoid that something is lurking on the floor and ready to grab her at any moment.

She really should be looking up instead of down.

Something brushes against her forehead, and she blinks before raising her head. Several black spiders hang from the ceiling. All it takes is one quick glance from such a close distance to tell that they're rubber and obviously fake.

Unless your eyesight is as bad as Meirin's.

She screams and stumbles backwards, jumping again when a raven pops out of the clock, cawing and flapping its wings. Meirin runs forward, but naturally, she trips. It seems that a little bit of luck is with her when an overstuffed chair catches her. Meirin sighs and sits up. Everything has slid around on the tray, but nothing has been spilled.

She smiles, turns her head...

And stares straight into the dark eye sockets of a skull. It seems this seat was already taken...by a skeleton.

Meirin screams again before she jumps up and goes running down the hallway, leaving the tea set -- or what's left of it -- on the floor.]

[Guess who's discovered the candy in the kitchen and is helping himself? Kaito isn't really all that bothered by the ghosts and stuff since they seem pretty harmless. He's just excited about one of his favorite aspects of Halloween: the candy.]

[Lizzie is clinging to her blackberry as she walks down one of the halls. It looks as though she has been crying a bit]

I-i got lost when I was running away from a strange light. Can someone please he-

[she is cut short when there is a flash off screen and she screams, running again for a bit. When she stops, she's panting and falls to her knees]

Scary! This is all really scary!! I want to go home!

[she's going to start crying again]

[Since it was the start of a new week, Elizabeth thought she'd brave leaving her bedroom - the past week,  whenever she'd left her room, she'd find herself followed (or one time, chased) by what appeared to be an executioner. Complete with the full black attire and the weighty, blood stained axe, it had been more than a little terrifying for her. However, after walking the corridors cautiously for a little while, the young monarch soon relaxed, and allowed herself to admire the Manors new decorations with both awe and curiousity. She didn't know what Halloween was or what it was supposed to be about, but the strange carved thing outside her door and the sound of vacant crying she kept hearing gave her some idea.]

[Anyone in the kitchen will meet Black Jack, preparing some food and hot drinks. He's pleased to not have to fight to get food for him and Hatori, and they'd long since run out of coffee. The decorations didn't bother him, nor did the random bouts of 'scary' laughter he kept hearing. He was beyond caring what the Author had planned this week - his priority was his patient, and second to that was his need for caffeine]

[Holmes was only heading to the music room when he suddenly found himself tripping over something, his violin and bow sent flying. He lands heavily, but with a swift recovery]

What on Earth was-

[When  he actually see's what he fell over, his eyes widen in surprise. A Jack 'O' Lantern is lolling on it's side, staring at him, the candle no longer lit. Holmes tilts his head at it]

Well aren't you odd looking...then again, I suppose I'd look a little disgruntled if I found myself to be  carved pumpkin.

[He then frowns as he picks himself up, setting the Latern back upright, and retrieveing his violin]

..Is it really October already..? Hmm..
