[Having made it a point to not go near the kitchen again, young Shiki's made his way outside basking in the greenery. There was very little left anywhere in his Japan unless you went very far into the countryside, no where near he lived anyway. Taking a deep breath he tried to clear his thoughts, shove the image of the blood stained cabinets from the front of his mind. With very little success sadly.

His face paled, remembering the smell of it. That distinctive metallic hint. Hunching up in the taller grass by the flower beds he raked his hands through his hair. Where the hell was he anyway..?]

[Aoko is not usually too confused when she wakes up in her own room but here lately she'd been sleeping in the same room with the boys. But only because she felt safer with them right there. So why she's not in Kaito's bed has her a bit puzzled. More than that though, she felt achy. Like she'd been sitting in one place too long and she had bruises all up and down- well- everywhere. She can't remember doing anything too strenuous or- She shakes her head and merely gets out of bed- definitely achy and sore.]

[...well, whatever the reason she was in her own room- she's quickly leaving it and moving down to the end of the hall to go back to the boys. Once she get there, however, it's locked. What the heck? They're not out are they? Without really thinking about the fact it's.. midnight... she knocks on the door.]

((ooc: to save the poor girl's sanity she does not remember her encounter with Gaara in the kitchen. She will remember on a subconscious level- but she'll be very confused as to why she has a sudden fear of sand or just.. Gaara.))

[Unseen by the camera Mikami has been flailing (metaphorically, of course) in a serious way about suddenly having to take care of a child. Thankfully his kid wasn't one of the active kind.
Being a father was nothing Mikami knew about. He didn't even remember his own father and his mothers was a faraway memory that he's locked somewhere deep down in his mind.
And Mikami knew this child wasn't real. It was one of the Author's tools and would most likely be gone after the week. But as he saw it breathing, moving, laughing, crying, living... it was hard not to see it was a real kid, someone with feelings.
And so Mikami has now taken the little boy to the library, in the hesitant try of doing something fun for the child.
So here he is, the boy on his lap (after the kid begged for it, Mikami had finally given in) reading a bed-time story. Without much intonation, in his serious voice, but it’s a try.
The story is the fairytale of Momotaro, because every child had to know that one. It’s been ages since Mikami read it, so he doesn’t even remember a lot. ...The irony of the old couple suddenly getting a child only strikes him later]

Once upon a time there was an old man and his old wife living in the country in Japan. The old man was a woodcutter. He and his wife were very sad and lonely because they had no children....

[Full fairytale here. The videos cuts out somewhere in the beginning though.]

[Anyone within earshot of Vol'jin's hut would be hard pressed not to notice the commotion going on. There's a scruffy red-haired troll child on the roof of Vol'jin's (finally finished) hut... and rather irritated Vol'jin standing on the ground below.]

Ja best be gettin' down off dere. I be given' ja ta da count of "five" before I be coming up afta ya, and ja don't be wantin' me ta be comin' up afta ya. One.... two... tree... four...

[The baby just giggles and sticks out his tongue]

FIVE!

[And with one swing he makes it up on the thatched roof, as the child scampers away giggling like a little giggle fiend. The chase goes on for a few moments, until the child slips and almost takes a tumble off the roof. Of course Vol'jin manages to grab the child by the leg and pull him up. Holding the giggling child upside down he brings him face-to-face. How to punish this one now? Vol'jin smirks and legs go of the child's leg, letting him drop about a foot before catching him again, only this time Vol'jin is the one laughing. The child looks mortified for a moment before he catches on and starts laughing too. Vol'jin jumps off the roof of his hut and sets the child on the ground and watches as he happily scurries off to get in more trouble.

Probably divine punishment for all the trouble he caused in the village back in his younger days...

Have yourself a very irritated and tired looking Frieza. He has been keeping fairly quiet until today when finally...he realized that the kid was not going to go away. He looks as though he has not slept in a few days. There is a squalling 3 yrd old hanging from his arm and he shakes it to dislodge the screaming toddler.

I will gladly grant anyone anything if they can destroy this...this...thing.

[Black Jack is sitting outside on the grass surrounding the fountain, with a 2 year old child and a pile of envelopes, all in various shades of pink and all perfumed into oblivion. He's opened one or two, but they all say pretty much the same thing. And they're all from the same person.

Leaning back against the stone water feature, the surgeon goes to light his pipe, the smell from the letters somewhat headache inducing. However, before he can really relax he glances over at the young boy next to him.

He's staring. Just, line facing at the Doctor, who in turn, frowns back
]

What?

[When the little boy just shrugs, but keeps glancing from the pipe to the Black Jack, he eventually gives in, and puts it out]

Fine. Have it your way.
