{Fourth Robbery} In the Streets of Paris [Video]

[John's heavy coat is wrapped around his body, his head's down and the rain is coming down in sheets. His leather clad hands are in his pockets and he's looking to get out of the storm. He grabbed one passerby by the arm and the reaction wasn't what he expected. His brow lifts and let the person go.

He did this a few more times, asking a random question here and there only to get a wave, a smile and the go-by. John quickly discovered that these people were pretty generic.]

Can't get a word in edgewise with these folks. I get that I'm in Paris. The Eiffel Tower was a dead give-a-way. Anybody got any idea how long this'll last?

[The rain actually felt pretty good to him considering that he comes from a time where rain wasn't common. The Dust Bowl made sure of that.]

I should send this rain back home. They sure could use it.

[He cuts off the feed before he says too much more.]

[Arthur fiddles with the blackberry, trying to clear the screen because for whatever reason he's standing there in the rain and it's mucking up the screen.]

Is there something wrong with Paris? Aside from the rain, but it seems like something you can handle.

Back home. I was thinkin' about them folks that could use it. The rain'll do a lotta people a lotta good. Can't send it though. It's a stupid thought.

[He finds an awning and stands under it, getting out of the rain so he could talk.]

Pisses me off that noone's done nothin' to help th' farmers, ya know.

Paris is nice 'n' all but it's not home.

I wouldn't stay here too long myself, whether or not I feel comfortable, there's just something ill at ease here.

Indiana, huh? When I've visited the States, I only stayed in the major cities.

It'd be nice to know what's going on here however -- makes me feel like there's something up that I'm not aware of.

[He pulls out a chair and takes a seat, not waiting to be invited.]

I'll tell ya. People are gonna start a revolt soon.

[A knowing smirk and a gesture with his hand that depicts he likes the irony.]

Ironic too considerin' we're in France an' one o'the most famous revolutions started here fer th' same reason. People're gettin' fed up bein' pushed around. That's what.

[He nods towards the newcomer.]

Glad to see you're capable of distinguishing me from everyone else.

Revolution however...? There's nothing to indicate anything of that sort. Unless you're planning something?

[He points to the device on the table.]

[He gives the other a somewhat discerning expression and nods up toward the people behind them]

I ain't plannin' anythin' like that but you're too new like me to drum up anythin' just yet. I'm catchin' up.

[He leans back in his seat.]

Hmm. I'm curious. Depends on how interesting your plans are when they unfold, I might tell you mine. But for now I'm just here, enjoying Paris for what it is.

[That alone made John grin.]

I ain't sayin' what it is just yet anyhow until I get all my li'l duckies in a row.

[The grins drops.]

Because I'm not on anyone's side unless they give me a reason to. Suffice to say, no one's interested me just yet.

[He inhales, thinking.]

A'right. I'll give ya that. 'Sides, it ain't somethin' ta prove easily anyhow. I'll give it to ya on th' level. I'm lookin' at disruptin' this little system of justice tha's been strongin' the residents. Some people're too afraid t' sneeze without risk of ge'in in some trouble somewheres.
