[Jack is standing in the middle of the yard just under the Eiffel Tower. He has tried on countless occasions to flirt only to have his efforts returned with a smile and a walk by. After seeing only generic faces after a while, he eventually gives up and starts moving on. His eyes look from left to right, then a quick turnaround and back again.]

Question. If this is Paris, where are the guards?

[By now, he was expecting someone to stop him just for being who and what he is which leaves him confused. He starts talking to himself.]

It is Paris, only the Paris that you don't know and knowing that you don't know makes you in the know that you don't know.

[He turns his head to the right and grins.]

Only that I don't know that you know makes me twice as smart that I didn't know in the first place.

[He turns his head to the left.]

Maybe now I have something to talk about.

[He starts to walk on, cutting off the feed.]

[Arthur turns on the feed, watching Jack talk to himself. Well there's one person who doesn't seem to ignore everyone around him.]

There haven't been guards around Paris in a while. Why would you need to know?

[A drunken slur was the first thing to notice of the pirate other than his odd stance and ataxic movements.]

The last time I was here, this place was crawling with them. Now there seems to be a lot of lights, blinking, flashing, accenting everything including, but not limited to, fountains, houses, storefronts, roads and statues. The Locker must be a lot bigger than I had originally thought.

[Even on video, Arthur still grimaced at his behavior. There was a reason why he restricted his drinking.]

The locker? Paris has been like this for the past several decades. You haven't been living in a closet, have you?

[Jack plopped himself down on a bench and set the device down, propping it on the armrest so he could speak freely.]

Clearly. The Eiffel Tower isn't going to get you anywhere near a ship though. You're better off trying elsewhere.
