[Claudia is in the Louvre. She's never seen a place quite like it and has been wandering the halls with fascination since she got here. Now she is paused before this statue taking in its every curve and curl with fascination. There is almost something sad about the look on her face.]

[It shouldn't be the surprising he's here, but that would only be unsurprising to those who know who he really is. He's mostly here to look over the place one last time before he sends his note, though he's wary of being spotted by various detectives from his world. Despite this he decides to go up to Claudia because he recognizes her from when he first arrived in the manor.]

[She spins around startled and looks as if she might attack. Her hand does go to the Dark Crystal she has folded into her belt. But she stops when she sees him and the fear fades from her eyes. She gives him a very weak smile]

[Kaito jumps back slightly at that, though he relaxes quickly when she does, smiling back a bit sheepishly.] Whoa! Sorry. Didn't mean to startle you.

[He turns to look at the statue.] So, uh, enjoying the sights so far?

[Kaito grins at her.] Yeah. Other than the drones walking around anyway.

[Yeah, those people have been freaking her out too. She's so unused to being around people. She has kind of grown to like it though, although she's in a city filled with people they offer no more interaction than trees which makes her feel more comfortable]

I went to take a look at the Eiffel Tower the other day. It's been a long time since I last saw it. [The last time had been when his dad had brought him there while they were on tour in France, but that was years ago and he'd been little then.]

[Oh he doesn't mind if she didn't know.] The big steal tower? Yeah that. It's a really important landmark in this city. A lot of people from all over the world come to see it every year, along with a lot of other things, like this museum.

Heh, then you wouldn't be surprised to know then that no one really liked the tower when it was first built. It's the history surrounding it that made it what it is today, but that's true of a lot of things.

And yeah, the museum is great. This is one of my favorite places here.

It's not. I was here for about two months when I was seven years old. That was a long time ago, but I've always had a pretty good memory. Oyaji, my father, traveled around a lot and sometimes he'd take me along when he went on tour.

[now it was Kaito's turn to look a bit sad as he thought of his dad again]

[Claudia's about to ask what he means "on tour"? Or was his family that wealthy? But she sees the sadness on Kaito's face and feels his loss.]

[Kaito looked up at her in surprise then smiled.] Heh. Yeah, I know.

[It's been years already and it still hurts, but it has already gotten better than it was before.]

[Her father's been dead for nearly a century]
