[Open/In Person]
[This is not Thairos. For one thing, it's raining. She practically had to fight to get the normal storms to come to Thairos. For another, she woke up in what seems to be an inn that is far more opulent than even her famous teacher would stay at. Also, the lighting here is exceedingly odd.]
[There's very little chance she could have gotten kidnapped (and to what end, especially if she's unbound and has nobody watching her. So Tris is going to go out and see if she can't find the lay of this strange city. This starts with her keeping the rain off of her and walking out of the hotel. She is On A Mission To Explore This Place, and she is Not Happy about it.]
[Congrats, Paris, you now have one grumpy, confused, red-headed weather witch standing under what appears to be an invisible glass dome that sheds the rain, and she's stalking your streets like she's mad at you! Which she kind of is.]

Re: [In Person]
[Not that that would take a genius to figure out, based on the sight of her.]
Re: [In Person]
It's- been explained, though I'm not happy about it. I have responsibilities at home. [Like catching a serial killer and
strangling everyone in Thairos responsible for the way they handle murdersteaching her student.] The so-called "author" could have chosen a much better time.Re: [In Person]
The Author's timing is notoriously inopportune, it seems. But please, allow me to introduce myself. I am Sebastian Michaelis. Under normal circumstances, I act as butler to the guests in the manor. At the moment, however, the size of the city prevents me from being able to serve on a larger scale.
Re: [In Person]
I'm Trisana Chandler. Call me Tris. [She certainly, and obviously, agrees with you on the Author's timing being "inopportune".] So "normally" people appear in a manor?
[In Person]
[He bows his head slightly when she introduces herself.] Miss Tris, it is a pleasure. Yes, they do. The manor is a decent size, all things considered, but the city of Paris is obviously quite a bit larger. With no exit currently available, we are forced to make due, I'm afraid. Which is the reason I decided to extend my professional services to any new guests. I thought it more useful than sitting idle.
Re: [In Person]
[She is, however, going to turn faintly red and make a face at that pun.] Mm. I'm still just a student [But only technically.] and my magic isn't exactly a profitable one like my foster-siblings have, but I should be able to help out. [She's not going to sit by uselessly, at any rate. Tris tugs on her dress at the mention of her foster-siblings, though.]
Re: [In Person]
[He smiles apologetically when he sees her blush.] Yes, I'm afraid that title might sound a bit silly to you. Perhaps I should pick another? Would Miss Chandler do?
And yes, there are many guests who are banding together to make the most of our unlikely community. Aid in any form would be appreciated more than malice, although I'm sure that is rather obvious.
[In Person]
[Tris is making a slight face at her last name- she doesn't really like it, but there's no real pressing reason to abandon it for a mage name.] It would.
I'm hardly malicious, and I take care of my fair share of household chores back home.
[In Person]
As you wish. Miss Chandler it is.
[He smiles.] That is good to hear. Are you headed toward any destination in particular? I may be able to escort you, or at least assist with directions.
[In Person]
[Tris fusses at her sleeve a little.] I'm not, really, just exploring. I try and explore new places whenever I arrive. [Sebastian y so gentlemanly you're going to fluster the weather-witch.]
[In Person]
Is that so? [So... there are no demons in her world? Or at least ones that can manifest like he does? He's curious to see what she thinks of him, but he'd rather not reveal all his cards if he doesn't have to.] I confess I've no idea how I would look to someone of your ilk.
Ah, I see. [No, that's good. Because if he can convince her he's just this polite, she'll be one less person who might try to gang up on him if his secret ever comes out on a wide scale.] An admirable policy, yes. But please be careful. The Author does like to surprise us when we are least expecting it, and there are guests here who are less... civilized than others.
[In Person]
[Tris winds one of those thin braids around a finger.] Short of someone of your power, it would be very difficult to attack me. [She will use her magic in self-defense.]
[In Person]
[Huh, well. That's good to know.] If you insist, Miss Chandler. If there is anything specific you need in the future, please let me know.
[In Person]
[Tris is turning faintly pink again.] I will, thank you. Have a nice day. [She's going to keep walking!]
[In Person]
I look forward to our next meeting, Miss Chandler.
