7th Wish || Dende

[Dende had been lost from Raven for a while now. Tired of looking and more then a little bit scared he takes a seat under a tree to hide from the rain. He brings his knees to his chest and looks up at the sky. Every once and a while the rain will let up for a moment and Dende could get a brief peek behind the clouds at the starry sky. He couldn't help but wonder if Namek was one of those stars, or if the Author had just thrown them there to be pretty. Not that he particularly minded, he hadn't ventured outside the manor much, especially at night, so this was his first time seeing stars. They were nice. It made the night seem a little less scary.

He let out a content sigh. This plot wasn't all that bad. Even if it was really easy to get lost.]

[Out of nowhere, a ball bounces by in the distance and the sound of something snorting and thumping could be heard running after it. The dragon appears out of the bushes and chases after the ball and pounces on it with frolicking glee.

She wraps her wings down and has the ball in her clutches as if she made a prize catch and purrs, looking at the ball.]

[Dende watched the random ball bounce by curiously. He was about to go pick it up to return it to it's owner, and ask to play too. However when a giant winged lizard frolicks by Dende lets out an 'Eep' and retreats to the other side of the tree]

[She heard the "eep" and lifted her head, ears perked up and a purr. She gets up from her crouch, leaving the ball behind for now to see if she can find the source. Despite her size, she's light on her feet and her nose wiggled slowly, sniffing the air around the tree with a purr.]

[Dende peeks out from behind the tree but quickly retreats when he sees the the lizard.

Oh he was going to die....again. This thing was looking for him and of course it was going to eat him ~~because everyone knows Namekians are filled with marshmellows~~. Dende shuts his eyes tight and holds his breath waiting for the worst]

[Once she found him, she licked the side of his face and hunkered down on the ground with a purr. She didn't mean to scare the little green boy Dende and she wasn't going to eat him either. A loud thunderous purr came with her breathing.]

[Dende almost topples over from the lick but much to his surprise afterwards- he's not dead. He peeks open an eye to see the big lizard just laying on the ground. He cautously approached it and reached out to give it a couple pats on the snout. Maybe it was friendly?]

[She closes her eyes and lets the tiny hand touch her muzzle. The purring hasn't stopped.]

[oh and finally a little smile peeks out. Dende giggles and pets the dragons nose with both hands.]

Hee hee! You're friendly aren't you! You look a little scary though!

[Large eyes and wide pupils blink at Dende. Yep, she's friendly and because of her color, she's hard to see at night, hence the name of her breed. She purrs and closes her eyes again, content with the giggles she's heard.]

Hey are you hungry! I bet you are!

[Dende reaches into his pocket and pulls out a mess of candy, because candy tastes so good no one could POSSIBLY not like it. He sits down with them on his lap and starts to unwrap them.]

[A curious sniff and a perk of her ears, she likes the smell already. She has already developed a sweet tooth being here and it couldn't hurt to try this candy that those little fingers were unwrapping.

She opens her mouth, retracting her teeth so she wouldn't hurt him.]

[Dende smiles and giggles when she opens her mouth. Scooping up all the candy in his hands he drops them on the dragons tongue ans watches to see if she like them]

[She smacks her lips, tasting the candies on her tongue and her eyes look up with a tilt to her head. She perks up and nods with a snort and a purr. She liked them! The sweeter the better now that she knows what it is. Humans make such wonderful things.]

[Dende laughs]

They're good aren't they! I never had them before I came here! But they're really good! Do you want some more? You're big so you can probably eat a whole lot!

[She nods her head happily and briskly with her ears slapping to the back of her head.]

Mrrhuhh, mrrrhurrrrh. Brrrrrrmf.

[She nuzzles for Dende to have some himself.]

[Dende giggles and holds out his hands. In a little flash more candy is suddenly there, and there's no wrappings on these ones. Yes, Dende is a little candy dispenser]

It's okay! I can make as much as we want!

[he holds his handfull out to the dragon]

I'm Dende! It's nice to meet you!

[She blinks and purrs, nuzzling Dende and commit his face to memory. She sniffs and realizes that Dende can make candy. Instant friend!!]

[Dende giggles at the nuzzling and pets the dragon affectionetly]

Do you have a name? Maybe I should give you one!

[Dende splits his little candy pile in two, one for himself and one for his new friend]

[She gives another nuzzle and starts picking up the candy one at a time very carefully with her mouth. She looks up and nods her head slowly. Names were needed for identification...she learned that much.]

Hmmm...

[Well, it was a dragon, and he was VERY tempted to name her after Porunga... but that probably wouldn't be respectful to either dragon. Well maybe a similar name wouldn't hurt.]

I'll call you Porupeca!

[Dende smiled and popped a candy into his mouth. 'Dragon of Sweets' seemed to be a fitting name for his new friend, Much more so then 'Dragon of Law']

[It wasn't the language that she understood. It was the tone and meaning that tone held that made her grin in her toothless grin that depicted her satisfaction. She nods her head that she accepts the name and gives Dende a gentle nudge with her nose and a lick.]

[Dende giggles and pets the Dragon's nose]

It's nice to meet you too Porupeca!

[The affectionate nuzzling was later met with a curl up at his feet and a content purr. Porupeca was a good name and she liked the sound.]

[Raven had to admit that she missed Dende quite a lot, and knew she hadn't seen him for a while. So, taking a minute out, she honed in on where he was, and headed towards said location.

Sure enough, about 10-15 minutes later, the tree he was sat under came into view. She was relieved to see he was still there, and quickened her pace a little as the wind picked up - the Author could have at least made it sunny for a new plot..]

Dende!

[When Dende hears Ravens voice his head snaps in her direction. A big smile spreads across his face and he gets up and waves his arms, beckoning her over.]

Raven! Raven! You found me!

[When she reaches the tree, she kneels down infront of him, putting her hands gently on his shoulders]

Are you okay..?

I'm okay! There are lots of nice people here! I made a whole bunch of new friends, but I missed you!

[He looks up at her with a biiig sniiiile]

[She smiles herself, and sits down, picking him up and putting him in her lap]

I missed you too - who have you been staying with..? I knew you were with someone a lot of the time, but I don't know who

There was a nice lady named Nice! And I made friends with a little boy! And a lizard thing!

[Dende beams. Thoroughly enjoying sitting on Ravens lap. He looks up at the stars again.]

And now I'm with you!

[Internally she's relieved, and feels a little guilty for not finding him sooner. She'd be sure to keep a closer eye on him in the future. As if her action reflect her thoughts, she cuddles him a little closer, wrapping him up in her cape]

Yeah you are. I'm sorry I didn't find you before now..I should have. But, I'm glad you've made some friends

[Dende snuggles in happily. Low or high temperatures didn't bother him to the extent that it would a human, but he sure did love his snuggling.]

It's okay I wasn't scared... well maybe a little in the beginning, but not after that!

[Dende giggled, proud that he only cried once all week. He looked up at the sky, the stars were peeking out again.]

Raven, what are those little white things in the sky?

[She looks up with him]

They'r stars..they're huge masses of burning gas and rock, but they only look tiny to us because we're so far away from them. And all the stars you see now? Those are only the ones in our galaxy - there are billions and billions more up there that we can't see

So they're suns, just really far away! Namek has three suns, so I never got to see what night was like before I came here. It did get really dark on Namek once once Porunga was summoned... I wonder if Namek is up there...

[Even though she thinks it's unlikely, she still nods]

It could be, you never know..

You know, Namekians used to be known throughout the galaxy! Elder Moori always used to tell Cargo and I stories about the ancient Nameks like Guru!

[Dende smiled and speaks with pride at the past accomplishments of his people]
