8th Wish|| Dende || Probably still needs an adult...

[It had been two days since Dende's disappearance, now he has miraculously returned in the place he was last seen. However, he is quite different. Now about six feet tall, he is snoozing under the tree from the other night with a book open on his lap, blissfully unaware of any danger that could possibly be around him.

In a moment seven small orange balls fall from the sky and land haphazardly around Dende. As the guardian of Earth, it seems the Dragon Balls have followed him.]

((ooc: For the record the dragon balls don't work, but he doesn't know that, and someone might want to wake him up before something eats him~))

[Raven stands up quickly, dropping the dragon ball as she does so]

How do you know my name..?!

[he looks up from his frantic scrambling and tilts his head in confusion]

How? How not? You took care of me for the duration of my stay at the...oh dear I must look terribly different!

[He stuffs a couple of the Dragon Balls into his pocket, keeping two that wouldn't fit in his hand, and smiles at Raven]

I'm Dende. It's been almost 30 years since I saw you last.

[He stands up and with a slight movement of his hand the Dragon Ball Raven dropped floats up and heads towards Dende]

[.....]

[Okay..She wasn't expecting that..]

Dende..? But you're..wait, 30 years..?! I only saw you two days ago..

[Dende's face becomes a confused pout]

Well I certainly havent aged as much as I have in two days.

[he puts his thinky face on]

Let's see, when I met you first I was 37... and I'm 64 now... well 27 years then... but wait if you only saw me two days ago then that must mean...

[He drops the Dragon Balls in his hand]

Ah! I'm back at the manor again!

[She just listens to him, her own expression just as confused]

Yes you are..well, you're not technically at the Manor, but you're in one of the plots..

[She picks up afew of the dragon balls for him, and looks at them curiously]

So..what're these..?

[He rubs the back of his neck. Again, he's supposed to be protecting these things, not dropping them everywhere]

Ah thank you...

[he takes them and looks around on his being, deducing that he needs more pockets. Or a bag. A bag will work too. Dende balances the Dragon Balls in one hand while he materializes a small over-the-shoulder bag with his other. He quickly puts the ones in his hands into the bag, and begins moving the ones from his pockets in there as well. He leaves one out to show to Raven though. He holds out his personal favorite- the six star ball, Moori looked over it's Namek equivilant in his village back home.]

They're Dragon Balls. I've been entrusted with watching over and maintaining the Earth's set. When seven of them are brought together they can sumon a dragon.

[....]

A dragon..? As in, an actual, flying, fire breathing dragon..?

Well I don't know about fire breathing, but he does fly. If I knew where the model was I could show you at least what he looked like... but last I was aware it was on the lookout...

[He chuckles]

Well, his name is Shenron, and he grants wishes to those who summon him... so it's imperative that I keep them from those who would with for something devastating....

I'm sure I can guess..stereotypical dragons all look a little samey after a while

[She considers his last comment]

Okay, well, I can see how it'd be problem if they got stolen..so, you're just going to carry them around with you the whole time we're here..?

Once I find the model I'll be sure to show you. Of course the model is a condensed version, he is quite magnificent when summoned, I must say.

[He smiles quite proud of his job]

Well back on Earth they are scattered across the planet making them quite hard to find... but here... well I would much rather keep them close for now.

[She can't help but smile a little back]

I can imagine..dragons are known for their power and elegance. I'd like the chance to see him at some point

Where will you keep hem when we're back at the Manor..?

[Dende brings a hand to his chin and thinks for a moment]

Well even if all seven are together, the dragon cannot be summoned without a password. I beleive Piccolo and Gohan are the only others who know the password... but in Piccolo's current state...

I'll leave six in my room and carry one with me. That should be a good enough precaution...
