8th Wish|| Dende || Probably still needs an adult...

[It had been two days since Dende's disappearance, now he has miraculously returned in the place he was last seen. However, he is quite different. Now about six feet tall, he is snoozing under the tree from the other night with a book open on his lap, blissfully unaware of any danger that could possibly be around him.

In a moment seven small orange balls fall from the sky and land haphazardly around Dende. As the guardian of Earth, it seems the Dragon Balls have followed him.]

((ooc: For the record the dragon balls don't work, but he doesn't know that, and someone might want to wake him up before something eats him~))

[She comes out of her wind up and reexamines the ball]

A dragon?

yes, a very special dragon named Shenron. Kami made him, he's related to Piccolo. You may have seen him around the manor, if I'm not mistaken. He lloks like me only... well... a lot larger.

[Dende chuckles]

He's related to Piccolo-san!?

[Now she wants to know more! She drops down onto the grass next to him]

Tell me about him!

Well the Piccolo here is quite different from the one I know back home. He's much younger here, and far more ill-tempered. Hmmm...lets see how the simplest way to explain this... Um... well... Namekians have an interesting ability to um... split in two, I guess that would be the easiest way to explain it. Well when Kami split in two he created an evil counterpart, Piccolo Daimao. Now while they no longer share the same body, they are still one being, if one dies, so does the other, and the power of the original Namek is distributed evenly between the two halves. The Daimao reeked havoc upon humanity but was eventually defeated by a small boy named Goku. As a last ditch attempt at revenge the Daimao created a son who was in essence his clone, that son is the Piccolo you know. Now that son took the Daimao's place as Kami's other half.

So Kami is Piccolo's brother?...or maybe his uncle? or his father... or perhaps grandfather.... erm.... oh dear I just went off on a tangent didn't I? um... did you get any of that at all?

So...Piccolo-sama's father was...his...or he is his clone? And where does the dragon come in? I don't get it, Dende-kun...or...uh...Dende-san.

Well, Kami is from the 'Dragon Clan', a group of Namekians known for their abilities to create Dragon Balls. I am also from the same clan, which is how I can maintain them. Piccolo oddly enough is from the 'Warrior Clan' which is why he's so adept at combat.... but you would really think two halves of the same person would be from the same clan...

[Dende shrugs that one off]

But when our world became under siege by a terrible set of androids Piccolo and Kami fused back together to deal with the threat, but since they used Piccolo's body as the base, he lost the ability to maintain the Dragon Balls, so they asked if I could come and replace him. But this all happens far in Piccolo's future. From what I gather right now, Piccolo is still rather sore at Kami, they never did get along very well.

[Dende pats the book on his lap]

At least that's what Kami says in here....and...um... you can call me Dende-kun if you want.... I don't mind...

[Mamimi's still trying to get all of that]

But Piccolo-san is okay, right? Nothing bad happens to him?

Well, there were two occasions where he died... but um... he gets revived... that happens a lot where I'm from. I've died once as well... He fights in soe very difficult battles as well, but Namekians are very hardy and he makes it through okay. In my time he stays with me on the lookout quite a bit, when he's not down on Earth training at any rate.

[Dende chuckles]

He's even taught me a few combat tecniques here and there, but since I'm not of the warrior class I'm terrible at it. He would always say that "It would be easier to teach fish to fly then to teach you to fight."

[Mamimi smiles and tugs at the bands on her wrists. They hurt but she wears them almost all the time]

Piccolo-san is a great teacher.

He is, isn't he? Even though I was beyond his ability to teach, he has helped train some of the strongest warriors in my world.

[He looks at her wristbands]

Weighted I asume? I hope they aren't too heavy. You're still young.

Mm! No, they're not too heavy. Piccolo-san made them perfectly!

I'm glad, Piccolo has a tendency to... erm... get a little excited and overdo things a bit.

[Punching the Guardian of Earth in the face during training is probab;y a prime example of such extreme behavior...]

I know! He's really hot headed!

[She says that like it's a good thing]

[Dende laughs]

He has been as long as I've known him. He's certainly one of a kind, even among my people.
