Twenty Fifth Guitar Solo - Eddie Riggs [Text]

Could use some help out here, kind of stuck because of weird ass monsters at the moment.

Kind of hurt too, so- yeah.

Fuck.

((Eddie's stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. So anyone willing to come aid him/and or be his meister = amazingness. In person stuff encouraged~))

[Gene's been trying to hide but the monsters keep coming and he has no weapon on him to use against them. He looks over his shoulder and sees Eddie and quickly ducks to get to him.]

What the hell are these things?

Kinshin, at least accordin' to the talkin' rabbit. [Is Eddie's response, body tense as he presses back against a conveniently placed car. Bits of glass, dirt and gravel decorating a cut on his arm while he pokes his head up briefly to glance back at a lovely gathering of them. He ducking back down to add a helpful comment while ignoring the ache in his cut up knees as he shifted back into a crouch.] I'd normally say run, but that'd just attract their attention.

Maybe that's not a bad thing considering all those people still inside that can't fight them off.

[The roadie takes a moment to eye the gathering of Kinshin.] The problem with it is, there are a lot of them and they'll probably chase us if we run off. Trust me man, these ones, they're fast.

[Gene looks a bit tense.]

Damn. So how do we fight them off?

[Eddie's no better, brown eyes narrowed at the Kinshin. He finally turning back to Gene after trying to watch them to figure out what they could do.] I hate sayin' it- but I have no damned idea. I don't have my axe, an so far my guitar hasn't really done anythin' against them.

[Gene was without his gun and he was just as powerless.]

That makes two of us. I don't come from a world where people simply vanish and turn into monsters. The monsters live among the population. Okay...let's think this through.

There's the two of us and some great big black monster thing just over there. There's no telling how many of them are there but maybe working together could stop them. Let's try that and see if it works. Since death isn't permanent, if we fail we know where we went wrong.

[They're boned. So boned.]

I'm for workin' together, we just need to find somethin' to attack them with. Since punchin' is probably not gonna work. Best I have is my guitar, she'd stun them for a few seconds, but wouldn't help us out much since we can't finish them off.

Oh fuck.

[Gene's eyes widened, his heart sank and the only thing left to do was offer himself up as a distraction and run to draw the Kinshin away from Eddie so he could find another place to hide. Gene was much smaller and faster on his feet plus he could get into tight places far easier than Eddier....he just hopes it works.]

I'll draw them off if this doesn't work.

[Eddie's brows go up at that as Gene's words hit him hard.] Whoa- no fuckin' way man. I'm not throwin' you to the wolves- or whatever they are!

We'll just run. I'd rather take that risk an have open land together than you possibly jumpin' into that.

[He was about to make a break for it then ducks back down again.]

Are you serious? You've got more here than I do. Death isn't permanent here so I'm not worried about it. Sure I'll be sick for a few days but you've got so much more than I do to lose.

No way, you- you're stayin' in one piece, you hear me? [Sorry Gene but Eddie is shaking his finger at you and scolding.]

Your life is still important, even if you just pop back after dyin' in this place.

[Thankfully the Kinshin is busy toying with a recycling bin, finally starting to eat it.] Okay- it looks, distracted so we can both get out of this alive.

[Gene hears the crunching and believes Eddie and sneaks off toward another area and out of the line of sight from the Kishin.]
