[John pretty much figured out that some events run longer than others and being who he is, the bank was a very easy target. He went in alone, no guns, no partners, just himself and walked in since the Kinshin and the people of Paris were pretty much the same thing.

Now he wasn't going to leave anything to chance and found the video room. He removed the tape and proceeds to empty the registers and found the keys to the vault. With time on his side and no way the police would come since they ignored him since he arrived, he was definitely taking advantage of it and wiped the place clean.

He walks out of the bank, tape in hand and tucks it into his jacket toward the safehouse where he and Nice were holing up.]

It's a financial thing and not a mental one. The stock market crashed in September of twenty-nine and marked a disaster that put a lotta people outta work an' forced a lot more outta their homes.

No, I'm perfectly on track. I ain't gonna tell ya what I plan on doin' with it should someone see you with me an' try t' get information outta ya. I ain't exactly one o' those guys that's a good role model. Anyone can tell ya that I'm one of those bad guys from those books ya read about robberies and such.

If ya trust him, that's fine. What yer in is basically what I call an ally. Yer like an informant only no one would suspect ya of doin' any big jobs. Think of it like a scout. Once this gets goin', yer gonna act as my eyes an' ears on th' outside while we're pullin' jobs on th' inside.
