[Well for once Piccolo had been excited to go back to the manor. He was not one of the 'weapons' and refused to wield any 'weapons' since in his mind hiding behind a weapon was cowardly. Even if it was the only thing capable of killing the dead-but-not-quite-dead things that were attacking. Luckily throughout his week in France he had been strong enough to push many of the Kishin back, or at least by enough time for Elphie and him to escape somewhere else.

Unfortunately for him, even though he was back in the manor, he was no better off then he was in France. Not only were the Kishin still there, but he was in a flimsy little tent, like that was going to keep anyone safe from anything. Even worse Elphaba wasn't with him. When he realized this he was quick to let out a loud and long string of swears before he burst out of his tent. Spotting more tents around his he decides with his brilliant little mind that the best and most intelligent course of action would be to check each one of the tents individually.

Naturally with Piccolo's social graces you can expect him to burst into a tent, cuss, and then promptly leave without further explanation as to why he was in your tent. Enjoy]

[He looks down at her, the whole thing still made him uncomfortable and it clearly showed in his face. Still, he placed his hand over hers and let out a sigh of contentment]

That's... just not how I'm supposed to be.... It's not what I was made for...

So..what would you rather do?

[Piccolo brings a hand to his head, this is obviously causing him some distress]

I-I don't know, I want to fight, no, I NEED to fight, but fighting to keep a whole mess of humans safe? It goes against everything a was created to do... I don't know... I just don't know...

[She thinks about it for a moment]

Then..don't think of it like you're helping anyone - you're fghting, doing what you do..we just happen to be here as well, and we just so happen to be fighting the same things

[Smirk]

Don't give yourself a migraine, okay?

[A little smile spreads across his face]

I suppose I could do that...

[He rubs the back of his neck a bit nervously once again]

...What's a migraine?

[Relieved that he listened to her, Elphaba smiles and nods]

A migraine? It's like..a really, really bad headache. You usually need painkillers for them

Oh... Can't you just say 'really bad headache'? Why do humans need a new word for a bad headache?

[he tilts his head a bit]

Painkillers? Well damn, those sure would be handy before a good fight...

Because the English language is somewhat annoying like that..lots of words that mean different things, and they have other words to describe them.

[Pushing her hair over her shoulder, she folds her arms as the wind picks up a little]

Usually you take painkillers after you've been fighting..but I guess they'd work before as well

[When he sees her fold her arms, he places his arm around her, draping his cape over her shoulders]

After? What good would that do? I would much rather dull the pain WHILE I'm getting punched in the face rather than afterward, when I'm too numb to feel it anyway.

[She stands that little bi closer, highly appreciative of the warmth]

I know what you mean, but at the same time, if you couldn't feel anything while you were fighting, then you wouldn't know when to stop, which in turn would make you weaker than your opponent.

And besides, hopefully whoever is punching you in the face will break their hand before long~

Ha! Stop? Never. Not until either I'm dead or my opponent is dead! Of course the chances of me dying are next to nothing!

[Piccolo looks up and smiles remembering the fight with Goku he thinks is over]

You should have seen me fight against that Goku kid! It was amazing!

[He thinks about it for a moment]

Well I did get a little out of hand... so maybe...

[A little? He completely leveled the Island and almost blew up Kami just to prove a point]

Actually... it's probably a good thing you weren't there...

[She laughs, and pats his arm]

I'll take your word for it..although now I am a little curious to meet this Goku kid. If he shows up here, can you hold off killing him for 10 minutes~?

[He laughs]

Alright, maybe for 10 minutes, but after that you'd better hightail it out of there before I level this whole place! Ah...damn... I hope Kami doesn't come with him... that would be a pain to deal with...

[Yay for compromises~]

Alright that sounds fair, although I also kind of want to meet Kami..

If he comes here you're welcome to, just don't expect me to come along. I can't stand that THING, and I'm sure he feels similarly to me.

[She laughs a little]
