Post the Third [Audio; private to James, but not very well locked at all]

[The audio feed is muffled and very quiet; it's almost impossible to make out what Remus is saying. His voice seems gravelly.]

James... oi, can you hear me...? I'm... in the forest... I need help...

[Hatori hears the feed after looking across the network for those who'd need help. So assuming he's not in a position to be able to speak hence the whispering he sends him a message to warn him of his arrival.]

[Soon enough Remus will hear the rustling of cautious footsteps through the bracken coming closer to his location.]

[Remus stares in bewilderment at the device in his hands - Has he done something wrong? How did this man get his message? Panic starts flooding through his veins, he needs to get out of here before this Hatori sees his injuries... But his exhausted body can barely move. Pushing himself up onto one wrist - the other one is broken - he attempts to at least unfasten the chains. He almost falls over again when he hears the rustling footsteps. He shrinks to the ground like a frightened animal.]

[Hatori glances around until he spots the boy, grimacing. It's not long before he's rushed to his side and examining the chains he was covered in.]

I'm Hatori, try and keep as still as you can. Would you tell me where it hurts?

[Remus is wide-eyed and frightened. And definitely not keeping still: he is instinctively curling up into himself, hiding is naked form and his injuries.]

No, it doesn't hurt, I'm fine.

[He's also in no state to think up a good lie, apparently.]

[He's seen far worse clothe-less wise. ~~(Shigure transforming back..)~~ regardless he crouches by the youth, working on releasing the chains.]

Why don't I wait until you feel like telling me the extent of your injuries? I'm not asking for an explanation of what happened, just what is necessary to get you better.

[Apparently not, but he's a scared teenage boy, Hatori can forgive that.]

[He shifts, hissing in pain.]

My... don't...

[He blinks his eyes several times, to clear them.]

My left wrist is broken... and both my ankles. Don't... don't try to take the chains off yet. I'll get to them.

[Yes, he is more coherent than most mauling victims. Maybe that's because he's used to it.]

[Hatori lets the chains go gently, just so that the boy would be at ease.]

In your own time.

[He tries to be as soothing as he can. He'd need to carry the boy back to the campsite away from the Kishin without gaining attention, especially as the boy couldn't walk himself.]

I will stay with you as long as needed, once I have you bandaged and tended to I won't speak of this to anyone. Doctor's patient confidentiality.

[Remus bites his lip; it's a huge risk to show anyone his injuries, even if said person says that he will be confidential. You just can't trust people when it comes to his affliction. But... there's nothing else for it. He knows he's still bleeding, and it's no use to anyone if he bleeds out. Tentatively, he uncurls himself. His chest and stomach are covered in enormous, dirty lacerations; there are deep puncture wounds on his sides, some of which already look yellow with infection. When he uncurls his legs, it appears that not only are the ankles broken, but several toes are at an odd angle. The soles of his feet and palms of his hands are ripped to bleeding shreds. And when he lifts his face, there is a large gash near his right temple. He breathes deeply from the effort of untensing his muscles.]

It hurts a bit...

[He grimaces at the wounds. This was going to take an extensive amount of work. This boy would need some extensive work, something that he wasn't necessarily sure he'd be able to handle by himself. Stitches, casts, setting the bones back into place, antibiotics to fight the infection. Lord knew what had happened to the boy. Why would he chain himself up to be attacked and mauled?

He gives a slight chuckle, mostly at how blase the boy seemed to be about his injuries.]

A bit? You're a better man than I if this only hurts a bit.

[He may have had painkillers, bandages and a general first aid kit, but Remus needed far more than simply that. He'd have to get someone to bring more supplies.]

I need someone to bring me some more supplies I'll need to treat these. I promise that he won't say a thing to a soul either.

[Remus's eyes widen and he curls himself up again with a barely-swallowed moan.]

No, please, don't bring anyone else here. It's dangerous... Please...

[Hatori shakes his head and sighs.]

I'm afraid I have to. This is something I'm not sure I can handle on my own.

[Pulling out his Blackberry he starts up a feed to Black Jack.]

I need you in the forest. Bring your supplies, we've got a teenage male with infected lacerations, broken and disjointed bones and highly stressed.

[Remus is too weak to struggle. He lets his head sink miserably to the ground.]

No...

[James drapes a blanket over his friend]

You'll be alright, mate.

[He shudders when he feels the blanket touching his raw skin, and looks up blearily.]

Thanks, Prongs.

[He gingerly tries to pull himself up into a sitting position using his one unbroken wrist.]

Need my wand...

[James has it]

Why didn't you let me help you last night?

[He takes the wand in his uninjured hand - luckily it's his wand hand, this time - and waves it. The magic... doesn't go as planned. Instead of vanishing into thin air, the conjured chains give a weak little flop, and turn a vibrant green. He gives up and answers James's question with a shake of his head.]

You can't help me here, Prongs. There's only one of you. Without Padfoot and Wormtail... I'll probably just end up hurting you.

[James does what Remus can't. He sits down next to him]

Wormtail never did anything to hold you back, he's a bloody rat. And yeah, Padfoot's not here but I can do something. I'm not going to let you kill yourself every month.

[Remus gives a snort of laughter, and then grimaces at a pain in his side.]

I'm not dead this time, am I? If you tried to help me, it'd be you dying.

Nah, I'd be fine.

[Weak but charming smile]

[He gives James a withering look which manages to be exasperated, despite his overall sorry appearance. With his good hand he pulls the blanket around himself.]

Don't be ridiculous. I'd bite your head off.

[His eyes close for a moment to control the dizziness, but then he begins to fall backward. He starts, trying to right his balance, but then he winces.]

Managed to bite myself in the side, this time. It's going to take ages to heal...

There are people here with magic to heal you quickly.

[He nods, slowly, eyes still closed.]

I know. But what am I going to tell them if they see me? I can't really say I was mauled by a dog, you know...

[James shrugs]

better than bleeding out.

[Remus looks up at James. In the light, maybe James can see the glistening of blood on the hair on the side of Remus's head. A head wound lies under there.]

I'm not going to bleed out. Look, conjure me some bandages, will you?
