Aoko-chan! 'Guru! Where are you guys? Look what I found!

They've got a game room! And there's loads of videogames and stuff I've never seen before! Come on, you guys! You gotta see!

[He'd been sitting on his bed in the middle of a pile of his own notebooks.]

[Trying to make sense of them.]

[Why did his older self start learning RUSSIAN? And why did his older self think scrambling words with Japanese and French grammar and lots of shorthand was sane? D: ]

[He's actually wandering downstairs to find Kaito with two of the more recent ones. >___>]

[Yes, he's That Kid. The one you can't get the books away from.]

[Kaito pokes his head out of the game room door when he hears someone coming and spots Saguru with the books.]

Over here! [He goes over to him.]

Oi, what're those? [He points at the notebooks]

[He's wandering over - but stops to look down at them.]

They're my future self's notes. I was trying to read them. [There's this kind of hopeless little wibble at that.]

Wow, really? Lemme see! [He goes over to take a closer look at those, genuinely curious! If it's from Saguru's future self, then it must be something neat, right?]

[He holds one over and open - and there's a couple pages with nice, neat maps...

And then suddenly there's a messy, cramped sprawl. It's in a mush of alphabets and languages, more flowchart than notes, things are abbreviated and in sentence fragments everywhere, there's random words that don't seem to fit in, lines and arrows all over, and some of fragments are ... the words and grammar don't match on which language is being used. And there's a few symbols.]

[There's a continuation of the despairing "D:" at his own notes.]

Eh?

[He tries to make sense of it... but.] Eh? This doesn't make any sense! Um... is that supposed to be Russian? And that kinda looks like... Aw, the words are all scrambled up too! ...I think. Is this some kinda weird code?

[Aw, that's no fun! D: Though I guess he wouldn't want anyone to read it, would he?]

It figures, though, detective work is dangerous. [And he nods to emphasize that; he already knows that one. :| ]

Uh-huh. [Kaito nods in understanding. It'd still be neat if they could figure out what it was though.]

Anyway, we can worry about it later! Come on 'Guru! [he grabs Saguru by the arm and starts dragging him into the game room.]

[There's a bit of flail as he manages to follow along/get pulled along, miraculously WITHOUT dropping the notebooks!]

[He kinda figures it's better Kaito can't read them though; if his older self was doing something dangerous, they could both get pretty hurt if they got part of it and not the rest.]

[Once inside? He'll be blinking and staring around a little.]

That's... a lot of stuff.

I know, right?! [He grins widely. This place is huge!]

[He goes over to one of the gaming systems] Wow! I've never seen this system before!

[And even though he's fairly tech-savvy, he's ... kinda wandering in gawking.]

I've never seen half of this stuff before.

[Kaito is examining the game set up with great interest.] A Playstation 2 and a Playstation 3?! Whoa!

[He wanders over to the game library] I wonder what kind of games they have?

[You are kinda being followed by a lot of confusion.] Did half of this even exist yet back home? [He's pretty sure it didn't, and he's staring at the flat-screen TV; that HAS to be "recent".]

Nope! I'm pretty sure most of this stuff doesn't. [He's looking through the game library. There's a lot of games he'd like to try, but... hey there were some Playstation games here too! Why is that? Does that mean they're still compatible? He thinks he sees one he's played before too that's got multi-player, so he grabs it.]

I wonder how far in the future some of this is from...

[You may have to grab him. He's distracted trying to figure out the TV.]

[And grab him he will, and he'll be dragging him too again.] You can figure that out later! C'mon 'Guru! Let's play something!

Huh? What? I don't even - I've never -

[The irony and comedy is that Kaito is dragging around/bossing around someone two years older and probably a good bit bigger XD; ]

What? Don't tell me you've never played a video game before.

[Kaito is over enthusiastic like that at this age. Also the also the idea that Saguru doesn't play video games wouldn't really be that surprising to Kaito since he's one of those serious bookish kids.]

[He's kinda looking at the controller like it's some kind of alien experiment.]

........ [And yes, that is a blank look.]

[Wow. He really hasn't. Kaito stares for a moment... then he brightens] That's okay! I'll show you!

[And with that we have a crash course on how to play a video game from a six year old! :D]

[As much as he's a fast learner, the first few rounds? Are so going to the one who knows what they're doing.]

[And then there's a moment of the "fast learner" kicking in.]

[Possibly via doing something underhanded.]

Hey! No fair! [But despite that Kaito is obviously having fun. He's just going to have to step things up himself.]

If it wasn't fair it wouldn't be in the game! [yeah, it's an early bit of smug bastard.]

Bet there boring really.

How would you know? There's a lot of stuff to do in here.

I've played with a lot of toys and game and they get boring pretty quickly.
