Fifth entry: The beach

[The first sound Elizabeth woke to was a rather unusual one. Climbing out of bed and dressing herself, the first thing she notices is that Embry is gone. She pauses for thought, before continuing towards the door of her room. She steps out...The light hurts her eyes, but as she adjusts, she realises she's actually outside, her now bare feet sunk in hot sand. Going to turn back, all that awaits her is a tent...]

What on Earth..??

[She then realises what she's wearing...or rather, what she would never even dream of wearing in public..ever. Just a dark red two piece swimming costume, she immediatly covers herself with her arms and runs back to her tent, sitting on the 'bed' and holding her head in her hands]

This cannot be real...it cannot....What in Gods name am I wearing?  I can't possibly walk around like this!

[Heading to one of the trunks in the corner of the tent, she begins sifting through the contents]

These aren't mine! What is...[pulling out a Tye-dyed red-pink sarong, she holds it up to the light, trying to work out what it is..]

[Stepping out of her tent, now in a sarong and wrap around top, Elizabeth notices the green haired young man lying on a towel a little further down the beach]

Hello there; um, my name's Elizabeth, by the way, not 'Liz-chan'

Oh...you don't like Liz-chan? Kio! Kaidou Kio! Kio-chan! Um, do you remember what happened last week?

[His grin wavers a little. He's a teeny bit anxious about that and he's trying to pretend otherwise. He's tattooed and pierced in case that throws Elizabeth for a loop. He's got a huge one on his back, a butterfly on his hip, and carp jumping on his ankle, 7 earrings in each ear, and a barbell piercing through his left nipple]

[She notices his many peircings and tattoo's, but doesn't say anything, in case she offends him]

Last week..? Which part? I mean, for me last week was quite uneventful

Never mind then, Liz-cha--Elizabeth. I can't decide whether I should go swimming or draw. [He laughs] What do you think?

Kio's reply made me realise; Elizabeth most likely can't swim >_>

[Looks out onto the water; it certainly looks inviting, even more so under the hot midday sun]

I think you should; it certainly looks lovely. And you may call me Liz-chan, if you wish [She smiles back - She was a little snappy before; she didn't enjoy being pretty much naked TT;;]

[She hesitates for a moment, before smiling back]

Oh, no, I'm alright thank you; you go ahead though

[A little stuck with what to do, Elizabeth glances back at the sea; perhaps she could just sit in the surf for a while; that wouldn't be too bad. As long as she doesn't go too deep, she should be fine..]

Well, I suppose I could come in with you; I just can't exactly swim very well..well...at all..but, as long as I don't go too far I should be fine

Yes, but I was never on a beach or any large body of water, so I never had any use for swimming..

I can easily see why; the weather's gorgeous, and the whole atmosphere is so...relaxing
