Bad enough. [That's a weak smile.] I think I broke a few ribs-- that's the worst part-- and I know I have a broken arm and broken leg. [Because you'd find out anyway, there's no point in hiding how thrashed she got.] I was stupid.

I taunted a large group of those-- kishin things- and ran out, away from everyone else, and tried to keep them distracted in a way I had been assured would not actually kill them.

I have no real combat experience. [Ow, that sort of hurt.] [...aside from the pirate fleet anyway, but they don't count.]

[There is a pause as he rubs the back of his head.] I've got combat experience but ... we dashed into the Manor taking on all comers days ahead of everyone else. It was a bit much, even for us.

If it takes too long, I might go track someone down. I haven't seen Larsa lately but I'd thought there were a couple others...

[ ^__^ ] Anytime we're in a big, modern city like this, all the hotels should have this, especially the nice ones. And since we don't really need to worry about money, there's no reason not to use it.
