[After her near-fatal encounter with Zarbon, and after a day or two of being room bound, Elphaba had found her way back out into the world. She meant to find Kuja at some point and thank him, and she also had to find a gift for someone called Oz. Weirdly ironic that the Author had paired them together for this particular plot, but hey - she didn't care too much either way.

As she made her way down the street, she did worry a little that she might run into Zarbon again; after being told that Piccolo was no where near as strong as him, she did feel somewhat...vulnerable, if that was the right word.

Pushing her hands into her pockets, she continues on her way, hoping to keep herself to herself]

[Zarbon, as Elphaba's poor misfortune would have it, is not far. As far as he is concerned, he's given Dende time enough to respond and so far, all he's gotten is stone walling. Of course, it doesn't help that the Author is forcing his hand and making him shop for a "present" on top of all this. He still isn't entirely certain that he wants to give into such demands from his captor. However, he finds himself idly glancing in store windows as he passes them and debating what to get should he decide to give in.

No matter; more importantly, he will find Dende.

He almost doesn't notice Elphaba, but he's quick to recognize her when he does. There aren't too many other green people about in this city. With a bemused smirk, he makes his way over to her, stopping beside her to mock her with kind words.]

Looks as though you're feeling better.

[Elphaba was pretty much in her own world when she heard a voice above the mundane noise of the faceless crowd. Looking up, she recognises the owner as one of the other residents, although they'd never met. She manages a smile, so's not to seem rude]
