Diamond 1: Emma Frost [In Person]
[One of the bedroom doors bursts open and a blond woman dressed all in white walks out. She looks from side to side, cautiously, before walking down the hall.]
Scott? Hank? Logan?
[She stops, closes her eyes and presses her hands to the sides of her head. For a moment she is quiet, then she looks confused, and a little worried.]
...where am I?
Scott? Hank? Logan?
[She stops, closes her eyes and presses her hands to the sides of her head. For a moment she is quiet, then she looks confused, and a little worried.]
...where am I?
[In Person]
I'll tell you now. My thoughts are my own and not open to anyone else to know. If you do it again I will not hesitate to cut you down.
Re: [In Person]
Though based on the preview, I don't find that likely.
[In Person]
You would do well to forget all that you saw. It's got nothing to do with you.
Re: [In Person]
I'll do my best, trust me. Yours was not the most pleasant of minds to experience.
[In Person]
I'm sure I can give you a far worse experience. I wouldn't make it a habit of looking into others' minds around here. There are those far more violent than myself.
Re: [In Person]
[Note that she makes no promises about intruding on other's mental privacy.]
[In Person]
I dread. Just make sure you don't get on the wrong side of the blonde kid with the scar, he'll make you're life incredibly difficult.
Re: [In Person]
[In Person]
Who are you anyway?
[Normally he'd have pointed his katana at her throat but under the circumstances he'd just have to settle with looking fierce.]
Re: [In Person]
[In Person]
[Someone with such little regard for others.
Hypocrisy is a beautiful thing.]I thought you'd know that.
Re: [In Person]
I do, Shiki. But I thought I'd be polite.
[In Person]
[Whilst yes, he may be a loose canon for the most, it doesn't mean he's without honour. He knows that digging where you haven't been invited is probably one of the worst things you can do. Then again, give someone enough rope and they'll hang themselves. She won't last if she keeps this up.]
You have a strange way of showing them.
Re: [In Person]
[At least, not yet.]
I consider myself very well mannered, at least when it suits me. I found myself in this God-forsaken place with no clue as to how I got here, and I wanted answers. Manners were hardly my first concern. But now that I know I'm relatively safe, I apologize.
[In Person]
It is not the matter of the keeping it 'mysterious' it is the fact you have shown little regard for others' minds by delving in upon a whim.
It means little to me. Though you would do well to watch that selective politeness.
Re: [In Person]
If you were in some strange place, confused and perhaps afraid, would you not do whatever it took to find out where you were? I did what I had to with the tools I have. I'm sorry I caused you some discomfort and unrest, but I found it necessary.
[In Person]
You can, though there is little need to pry anyone's mind. There is no reason to lie about our predicament. We're all hateful towards the Author and her naive plans.
Re: [In Person]
I admit that the idea of being toyed with by some adolescent girl doesn't sit well with me. Seeing as we're all in the same situation...well, we have a common goal now, don't we?
[Not that it means people won't have secrets still. She's still wary.]
[In Person]
So far we've all managed to only combine our forces once. Even then there were people that very nearly screwed it up. Everyone has their own ideals as to how we're supposed to defend ourselves from the brat.
Re: [In Person]
Though I'm curious. What caused everyone here to team up?
[In Person]
[Approaching the nearest window in the corridor he points out of it. The campsite was faded from all the snow, but it was still almost visible by the lake.]
We were forced out of the Manor by monsters called Kishin. Humans who had fed on the souls of others to attain strengh - disgusting things. We had to join forces and host an assault on the Manor. One team acted as a distraction to lure the Kishin away and others infiltrated the Manor to destroy their leader. Thankfully we had only two fatalities.
Re: [In Person]
So. This girl put everyone here in a dangerous and fatal situation. And two people died.
Does she do this for simple amusement? Or is it an experiment?
[In Person]
For her entertainment of course. If I had my way no one would have died.
It's not the first time either. She'll do it again. She won't care, whatever creates drama or makes it more interesting.
[Flexing his hands he feels himself transforming into that very large panther with the same red eyes as him. Growling at the back of his throat.]
[In Person]
[But, apparently, there isn't, and they're cut off from the outside world.
She watches as Shiki transforms into a panther. Her expression suggests mild interest.]
Can't control that, can you?
[In Person]
No. The closest we have is the rabbit. Even then he's the messenger from her.
It just happens, more often when I am angry.
