[The Chicken Pox are gone! And so to celebrate Conan is in the Library reading books on physics and anything on in the science field he could get his hands on/reach. He's reading fast- flipping through the pages quickly and occasionally pausing to write something down]

Kid and I have been talking about enemies we have in common-- what about Pandora? Does that ring a bell?

[ Her expression turns thoughtful for a moment, clearly searching her memory. ] I... can't say for certain, but I may have read something with that name in my father's research. But that was a long time ago-- Most of it was confiscated and locked up. They only allowed me access to his notes pertaining to the drug at the time.

[Notes? Shinichi wondered if perhaps there might be someway to get a hold of those notes but... probably not before the organization went down]

No, I think they must have given the Notes to Snake or his superior- Kaitou Kid has been looking for the Pandora gem-- according to it's legend it can cry tears and make the drinker immortal.

[ The books in her arms are promptly set down on the table. Concentrating on her thoughts her expression becomes a mixture of both concern and contemplation. ]

[ Stops, then turns to face him, her expression cold. ] Kudo, listen to me because I am going to say this once and only once-- I'm not fully aware of their true goal because I only did as I was told, but the suspicions I have are purely speculation. I ask that you don't ask me this again until I am certain in my reasoning, do you understand?

[ She continues but her voice changes now, sounding as if she was now trying to control it. ] It cost me my family and I do not want to go into this until I know everything. I'm not about to have you, or anyone else for the matter, have only bits of information that could lead you down multiple possibilities and make matters worse.

...I have one last question though-

A while back- when I first figured out the boss's mail address, you told me that number was like Pandora's box- did you use the phrase 'Pandora's box' for a reason?
