001 - Naomi Misora - [Audio/Text]
[Uneven breathing heard as the audio suddenly comes on]
Wh –
[and is just as abruptly cut off. Naomi puts a hand to her temple, frustrated at her impulsiveness. She had to be careful. He already knows her voice after all. Voice, face, name, everything! For all she knows, she was and still is under that monster's control. Frantically, the former FBI agent switches to text instead.]
Who's in charge here? I need to get to the closest police station. Please, it's urgent!
[Not even they could be completely trusted, but god, she was finally free from that unnatural, unbearable death wish that had smothered her for what seemed like an eternity, she was finally free to think, and who knows for how long such freedom will last. Her finger flies toward the "send" button but pauses at the last second. Naomi reads over the note she had just written in that obvious rush of panic. Ugh, like an agitated mess.]
Thank you.
[She decides to tack on for good measure before ending the feed along with a long overdue exhale.](ooc: She'll be ultra paranoid with the first few people who respond but will get progressively calmer further down the line as she comes to terms with what's actually going on.)
[Text]
Also the Author herself passes punishment to criminals, but it seems like she is not being subjective or fair.
[Text]
So there has actually been other criminals around. I wish I had been given a list of people to be cautious of before I was just dumped here with no warning.
What kinds of crimes? Abuse, theft, murder?
[Text]
[As if Mello was innocent. He's markes red at the "unrighteous"-list in his head. But this was complicated, he needed more information before getting anybody involved.]
Until know I've only heard of murder. But as I said, I'm working on very limited information.
[Text]
The mention of murder, however, hits several nerves.]
Of course, you've only been here for less than a month after all. I do appreciate all of the information you've collected so far. Since this place is so new to me, a little threatening even, I would like to be on guard first before I do anything foolish. Do you happen to know what kind of murder it is? Not caused by the author, I hope?

[Text]
[More importantly, it means that Kira hasn't been making any obvious moves, at least not within these last 18 days, not if that murder has been the only source of death. She might be safe for now.]
Oh, I should let you know that I actually used to be in law enforcement myself. I wouldn't mind hearing more about this organization you're trying to put together.
[Text]
Well, there's not much to tell yet. We're planning on organizing a meeting to set laws as well as give every interested person a specific work. The problem is the question of how we get the Author to leave the justice system to us.
[Text]
[Naomi sighs. She never did enjoy working in a large, overly demanding organization like the FBI, but she did enjoy the work itself. Perhaps this kind of smaller group was better suited for her.]

[Text]
[She sends the message but suddenly remembers that there was something she had needed to do, no, to confirm. Naomi immediately follows with a second message, this time locked to private.]
Oh, one more thing. A person by the name of Mello contacted me earlier, and I feel that he might have some information that's useful to me. He claimed to be involved in criminal investigations. I know you've only been here for a limited time, but are you able to verify this claim?
[Text]
He has been involved with investigations, but I'm not sure if he can be trusted. [Consider this a screamed warning.]
[Text]
[And thank god. xD]
