Spell 004 [In person]: Oh, look at what the cat dragged in. [Backdated to this morning >_>]

[Observant people might have noticed that a new tent has appeared on the island. If you peek inside said tent, you will find a rather disgruntled Soubi. He's wearing a t-shirt and swim trunks: this is a good thing because even inside the tent you can see that his skin is pale enough to burn badly. He's sitting on his knees on the ground, flicking impatiently through the past communications on the blackberry, made in his absence. He has already been out of the tent and around the island when he appeared before dawn, and has found no sign of his Ritsuka. Even though that rabbit had said other people might appear.]

[And a new guest arrival never escapes a good butler! Sebastian appears outside Soubi's tent, dressed in these and this. But his white butler gloves are intact. He leans down slightly to get a good look at who's inside the tent. Aha. He gives a polite smile.]

Welcome back, sir.

[He looks up and gives Sebastian a haughty stare.]

Do you need something?

[Oh please. Ciel can out-haughty you any day.] Oh, not at all. I came to see if you required anything. Water, perhaps? It is important to stay hydrated.

I'll be fine. Tell me the names of the people who have arrived here while I was gone.

[He smiles. Someone has a photographic memory, it seems.]

[He doesn't bat an eyelash at Sebastian's prompt list. He doesn't like being impressed. He listens carefully for any names he recognizes, and of course hears none. His heart sinks horribly, but the emotion barely shows on his face. He nods.]

I see. I don't need anything else from you, then.

As you wish. [So he might not mention the approaching storm to you, Soubi, since you seem so damn independent. Or maybe Sebastian doesn't know about it, either. He does hesitate, however, before leaving.]

If it is not too bold of me to ask, sir... may I inquire if you recall where you've been all this time?

[He puts the blackberry down absently as he looks at Sebastian. His face bears no expression in particular, however.]

I don't. The last thing I remember, everyone was still chained together.

[Hmm. Interesting.]

I see. If it is a comfort, you are not the first to experience such a phenomenon. [Not that he particularly cares about Soubi's comfort level.]

[He doesn't sound very interested.]

[Kio stares from the mouth of the tent. His jaw has fallen opened, and he freezes. It's like he's afraid to move]

S-S-Sou-chan?

[Soubi quietly takes in the crime against humanity that Kio is wearing is the other runs toward him. He has a tiny, lopsided smile on his face.]

You must be very surprised I'm back here, calling me that name.

[Kio buries his head in Soubi's chest]

You've been gone for so long.

[He doesn't return the hug; he just looks down at Kio, slightly bemused.]

I don't even know anymore. Way too long. Weeks, Sou-chan, weeks and weeks.

[He doesn't make any effort to shake him off, which, to the keen observer, is a big deal. Soubi doesn't let Kio cling to him like this unless he thinks Kio needs the physical support.]

I've heard that Ritsuka hasn't appeared in that time.

[Kio looks up at him weakly and shakes his head but says nothing]

[He experimentally tries to push Kio off of him. If his friend starts to fall over or something, he'll catch him. But he'd just as soon not have to deal with the clinging.]

I see. Has anyone else from our world appeared?

[Kio holds him tighter]

No, I'm sorry.

[He sighs and stops trying to peel Kio off of him.]

I see. What are we doing on an island?

[Kio shrugs]

I'm not sure. We all just woke up here. It's weird.

Mm. Can you stand up now?
