Second Leap - Stuck - [Action/Audio]

[It's actually not too difficult to make her way through the manor even with the bizarre trick of the sunlight. It helped that others had made most of the mistakes she could have made, and no one was interested in setting up traps they themselves could fall into.

It was probably too easy, unfortunately, because she wasn't as on-guard as she could have been. If she were being more careful, she'd never have walked down a hallway lined with windows in the first place, shades or no. If she'd been paying more attention she might have identified the creaking sound before the shade nearest to her crashed to the ground and dumped in sunlight.

And every other one in the hall way.

As it was she only just managed to scramble back--and then forward--out of the direct sunlight and into the patch of sunlight between two windows without doing something embarrassing. Like shrieking.

She sighed in frustration, and slid down to the ground, pulling out her blackberry.]

...Entertain me.

[Because there was no way she was walking the hallway--short as it might have been--until the sun set.]

Just grab a blanket and cover your head- but don't use it as clothes- if you do it'll disappear, same as the normal clothes this week.

That'd be brilliant if I had a blanket. [There were the shades, of course, but they were a bit out of reach unless she wanted to crawl into the sunlight.]

Isn't there one... draped over a couch or something? Loads of people fall asleep in the parlor, I think. There's not much to do there but sleep on the couch.

There's a book I've been meaning to read there-a few books actually- you see all the books from the different worlds can be found there and I wanted to read the history of some of these other worlds.

Why haven't you gone and picked some up, then? [And by 'pick up' she meant 'pilfer for the TARDIS'.] You're not banned from it, are you?

Oh, anything you can find in the history section- preferably something that looks old. The older the better.

Not really, no- but I'd imagine they're pretty thick.

Just...a few. How much is a few? [So she's being deliberately difficult, but she doesn't generally appreciate being told to carry things when she's looking to pass the time. And she can't...actually carry them to pass the time.]

Oh, one or two should tie me over for now- if not I can always go back and get more.

If I don't know the history of that world- how do expect me to know that kind of theme I'm looking for?

Our best bet is to pick up a few of the oldest books and start reading- never mind the content...unless it's inappropriate. Then mind the content.

Doctor, history books are full of inappropriate content. That's the best part of history class.
