[While the teen is glad to be back in his body, he's in QUITE a bad mood. He's all strapped up in head to toe with his Dynamite and stalking through the halls like he's ready for battle. His hands are in his pockets and he's slouching defensively, a cigarette is lit and clenched tightly in his mouth. He walks by looking at all the doors in front of the manor. He had figured out that the words Misa saw above people's heads where their names... and he had a "Beyond Birthday" to find. But much to his continuous irritation, none of the names on the doors said "Beyond Birthday"

He sighs and pulls out his blackberry. He had left a not to Misa explaining the 'modifications' to her room, but he still wanted to follow up... besides she had his clothes now...]

Hey, um... it's the guy who was in your body last week... I've got some things to tell you...

[ When she got the message on her blackberry, she was a bit confused. Gokudera wasn't familiar to her. nd his message sounded so serious. She was much too happy to be back in her body and wearing her clothes to return the solemn mood.

But she was very much annoyed when she found her room had been changed. But she quickly dismissed it, thinking she could just change it back. To celebrate her return to her body she wanted to go on a shopping spree--- but that might have to wait for later. ]

[ She turns the video on and smiles to the camera and waved. ]

I'm Misa Amane. So you had Misa's body last time! Misa wanted to ask you something. It is a good thing you called.

But--- you got first! What do you want to tell Misa?

Um... well...

[ shit! How was he even supposed to start?! "Oh by the way you where attacked twice last week so I rigged up you room with dynamite." Yeah that was bound th go over REAL friggin' well. The teen sighed and rubbed the bach of his neck awkwardly.]

Well last week some guy came out of your vents... and kind of attacked... and questioned me... I-I'm sorry I tried to fend him off, but it didn't go well. Not long after someone came in questioning about what happened. I didn't tell them, it wasn't my place to, I did manage to get away from them though.

So I set traps over the vents and around the door. To disarm it just pull the pin by the lock. I-I'm sorry about the whole thing...

[The next second, Misa wasn't so sweet anymore. She was mad, but being completely careful. She switches to private almost immediately. She had to find out how much Gokudera knew. Forget the traps. She can take care of that later. ]

The name of who attacked you!? Tell me?! What did he look like?!

[ If it was L, it is going to be a lot of trouble. ]

[Gokudera cringes when she yells. Usually he would just yell back, even if he did feel it was his fault. However this time he bites his tongue. Him flying off the handle wasn't going to do anyone any good]

"Beyond Birthday" was what was floating over his head. That's his name right? He was really skinny and moved around weird. Messy black hair and he didn't look like he had slept for days. I'm looking to take care of him now, but I can't find his name on any of the doors.

[ She became very quiet. This was not good. If he saw the name--- Gokudera now knew about the Shinigami eyes. She knew if L ever found out about it, he was going to shift suspicion to Light. She couldn't let that happen. She sighed, knowing there was no point in hiding it anymore. At least to Gokudera.

But that wasn't the only problem here. She immediately knew that the man that looked like L that she met at the hallway was more dangerous than she thought. She had to warn Light... but first.

Above Gokudera's Head, she saw his name as clear as day. ]

Gokudera-san, please... never tell anyone about what you saw. Don't tell them about my eyes.

[ She goes down on her knees and begs him. This was her problem, she couldn't let Light be involved. ]

Please! I will--- I will be killed if people knew.

[He looks a bit flustered at the begging. Dammit, he accidentally got her her neck hurt in the first place to try and keep her secret, begging was unnecessary!]

Oi, oi! Stop that! you don't need to beg! I'm not gunna tell anyone! It's how I got into so much trouble in the first place! It's your business not mine! J-just calm down! I'm sorry... I didn't mean to know about them.... but you would have been killed if I didn't say anything...

[He lets out a sigh and shakes his head, time for a change of subject. He had felt guilty enough without that display....]

You had something to tell me or something?

[ Misa thought her heart stopped beating. That means, someone knew! He told someone. That horrible man that looked like L knew. She was shaking now. She had to protect Light, but how? ]

Dying is much much better! I don't care!

[ She was completely serious. Dying was preferable. Hadn't she always been ready to die? ]

[Hayato eye's widen, then he looks down, too guilty to keep eye contact. He rests his back against the wall and slides down. He knew how she felt. How many times would he have gladly thrown away his life for the sake of his boss and the Vongola family]

Hey... come on... calm down. Tell me how to help fix it. What do you know about the guy who attacked you. I can't find his name on the doors, but when I find him, you won't have to worry about this any more alight? You don't need to talk like that.

[ She bites her lip uncertainly. She couldn't trust Gokudera with everything. So she had to be careful about telling him how much she knew. The less he knew the better off she and Light would be. And she absolutely did not want Light to get hurt because of her. ]

Misa never met him before.

[ She wasn't really lying. She had heard of Beyond Birthday before, but she never met or seen him. She just knew he was dangerous. Gokudera didn't know that guy. If someone was going to get hurt, it was just going to be her.

She smiles at him. ]

Misa is going to be fine. Just--- don't tell anyone else about Misa's eyes, okay? Please? This is really important. Misa is alive because no one knows.

Alright. don't worry about it. I'll keep it a secret. I don't care if I get killed.... I just didn't want someone to have to get killed because of me...

[He rubs the back of his neck]

and um... yeah... I you're pretty safe in your room... he came in through the vent... and I rigged it up with some dynamite... so just.... don't go sticking your head up there 'kay? If there's anything else I can do...

[ Her jaw dropped at first at the mention of bombs. He looked completely serious. He did that? That was kind of sweet--- in a very very weird way.

She made a mental note to herself not to go near that vent anymore. ]

[ When her disbelief was done, she smiled gratefully. If he was there in person, she would have given him a grateful kiss on the cheek. Then shook her head. She was kinda sad that she couldn't tell him anymore, but Light came first. ]

Thanks. It is okay. Gokudera-san done plenty!

Misa will be fine. She can take care of herself now.

[He smiles and rubs the back of his neck awkwardly]

There's a small charge by the door too! You just have to pull the pin to deactivate it! So you should be save as long as you're in you room!

[And it's time for his famous ability to TRY WAY TO HARD.]

I could do more if you like! O-or I could take out if it bothers you! But y'know so that guy can't sneak in or anything! O-or if you plan to stay somewhere else... I mean... I don't want you to get hurt because of something I did....

[ Okay. She was grateful, but not that grateful. She did not want to turn her room into a landmine. That was just crazy. She gives another smile, but this time a little uncertain and forced. ]

N...no need, Gokudera-kun. For now, Misa thinks this is enough. Misa knows his name and what he looks like, so he can't go through the door. Thanks to you, he can't go through the vents either.

I mean--- where else can he come in from?

The window.

[CLEARLY this isn't the first time he's done this crap... Granted this amount of enthusiasm was usually reserved for the Tenth.... but his guilt complex is working in over drive...]

You don't really think that creep would come through the window, do you?!

He fit through the vent system, the window would probably be even easier...

[If he had some paper and a pen with him, he would PROBABLY be sketching out the layout of Misa's room trying to calculate the most effective places to layout bombs to prevent another break in....

this boy needs better hobbies...]

[ She still wasn't sure, but she nodded. Just as long as there wouldn't be any video cameras. It would remind her too much of L when he was still putting her on surveillance. And how was she going to be alone with her boyfriend, if she was constantly watched? ]

Misa never thought of that... if Dera-kun thinks he should, he should.

Well, my window is the same size as yours, so I'll rig it up in my room then bring it into yours. That way you don't have to worry about having me hanging around your room all the time.

[He laughs a bit nervously, knowing that he makes horrible company]

Then maybe we could do a bit of a trade... you still kinda have some of my clothes in your room.

[ She never really thought of that. It was a relief. It would have been rude to say anything about it. Well, it was sweet that he thought of that. It didn't seem like a fair trade, but Misa wasn't going to complain.

With a guy like B hanging around, it would just not do to walk around alone. ]

Eh? So those were yours? Okay! Misa will bring them to you if you like.

Uh... yeah... sorry it's just the um... skirts and stuff I-I don't know how to work girl clothes and it felt kind of weird...

Ah it's alright! You probably shouldn't be walking around without someone with you for a while.
