4th World [In Person/Video]
[When Fai had woken up on Monday morning he realised that he was once again back into his own body, back to being himself and he was happy. He smiled as he had risen up from the bed and got dressed in a shirt and jeans that he remembered wearing once while in one world with the Kudan. He wasn't sure how the clothes got here himself and he wasn't one to want to question this either for the meantime because as of now he wanted to enjoy the peace and quiet that this place hadn't had since he first came here.
Leaving his room he made his way to the kitchen deciding that he wanted to make something just for something to do, like he did when he first opened a cafe to gather information. Gathering ingredients together to make some chocolate fondant he went and turned on the blackberry, a smile place firmly upon his face as he looked at it.]
I'm making chocolate fondant, so I'm wondering who might want to try some?

I'm making chocolate fondant, so I'm wondering who might want to try some?
no subject
Would I!?
no subject
Would you like some?
no subject
Oh yes I do.
[Chocolate anything is like crack to this alien.]
no subject
Do you want me to let you know when they're done or do you want to watch how they are made?
no subject
[Curious Megamind is curious and with that invitation, he simply can't pass it up.]
Please?
no subject
[In Person]
Oh how delightfully fun this is going to be.
[Still sporting spikes on his shoulders, forearms and shins, his personality contrasts his appearance.]
Oh, where are my manners. I'm the one called Megamind. My real name got lost over time.
[In Person]
My name's Fai, it's nice to meet you.
First of all we have to preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Next we prepare the tines that they will go in, so that they don't stick when we get them out later. Are you getting this so far?
[In Person]
Preheat oven to 180. Use something...to keep from sticking...
[He looks up from the electronic device and raises a brow.]
Like what, exactly is to be used to keep from this stickage?
[If he could make something like this for Roxanne, he'll be a happy camper.]
[In Person]
Stops it from sticking.
Next is pretty simple, we wait for the pan of water to boil, then we will place a heat proof bowl with chocolate and some butter in to melt it.
[In Person]
[Jotting all this down, his large head nods with keen interest.]
Butter is good for many things. I even heard that it was good for tanning!
[That was way back when sun protection wasn't really known as a science and people were cooking themselves on the poolside.]
[In Person]
Now we whisk the eggs, while at the same time you slowly but surely add in sugar. Now you do this until it's gets airy and fluffy.
[In Person]
Oooh....
[In Person]
This is what we should end up with.
[In Person]
Why? I don't get it. It certainly doesn't look like chocolate to me.
[In Person]
Oh, that's not what I meant by 'end up with,' I meant in that step this is what it will look like when you're done whisking.
[In Person]
[Now he's starting to put things together. Sort of. He'll have to watch more to get a better idea.]
[In Person]
Next is a pretty simple part as we start to sieve the flour into the now melted chocolate.
[In Person]
What is the flour for?
[In Person]
As you can see, this time I put both lot's of ingredients into one bowl.
[In Person]
[Still taking notes and looking on, he's definitely interested.]
I have GOT to make this for Roxanne.
[In Person]
Now all we have to do now is wait for them to cook, then we're done. It's as simple as that.
[In Person]
But of course!
[And taking notes again to how the batter is divided, he can certainly appreciate the attention to detail. It seemed easy enough not to mess up.]
[In Person]
Should be cooked enough!
All that's left is to get them out.
[In Person]
Amazing! And to think that recipes seem so much more complicated on those cooking shows on late night television. And you did this all...by memory?
[In Person]
I've never watched a cooking show, so I wouldn't know how complicated it is.
[In Person]
[Calming down]
Then when that idea comes out on paper at first then I sleep on the idea.
[chuckles]
Well, that's another story. I tend to pick at things until I find the source at its very basic design.
[In Person]
So you make stuff at night?
[In Person]
[And for obvious reasons, his girlfriend is a reporter.]
Sometimes, I build things that come to mind that are relatively simple. Oh, and remotes. You have no idea how many I modified for purposes unknown to bystanders.
[In Person]
Is it is something you like to do?
[In Person]
[He waves his hands in a circle.]
Some claim it's a mad science. I claim genius.
Chocolate fondant for breakfast? Isn't it a little early for that?
So does that mean the kitchen's out of bounds for now?
But that's good to know. Much as I like to tell myself I only drink coffee because I want to, mornings are definitely harder without.

It's a pudding with melted chocolate in the middle.
