Goku Time!! [action] oo3

[ When Goku woke up and found out he had his own body back, he was way too excited for words. Mostly cause he was too hungry to even formulate a coherent sentence. But the man managed to jump up out of bed and and race off towards the kitchen. Unfortunately he forgot to grab his comm because well... food was the only thing that mattered right now. So you may have seen him running through the hall or jumping down the stairway as he made a line to the kitchen. ]

[Megamind was walking through the halls, still gathering information about his surroundings that when Goku's steps were caught on his ears, he pressed his back to the wall and was nearly knocked over.]

WHOA!!

[uh oh, did he almost run someone over? Goku skids to a stop, but still managed to sort of jog in place as he looks back over his shoulder.]

Oops! Sorry about that!
You alright over there?

Oh no, I'm perfectly fine. I'm used to it.

[He slides down the wall.]

[Goku's gonna sort of jog backwards over to him now.]

Hey I haven't seen you around here before.
You must be new or something, right?

[Rubbing his face from not only the strangeness of this guy but also he hasn't yet woken up from his terrible dream.]

Or something? Am I...missing some key component to a larger machine here? Do I look like I belong?

[His eyes widened once he realizes his mistake and shakes his head.]

Don't mind me. I'm a little displaced.

[Pfft, he's seen far too much to think anything weird of this big headed blue guy.]

Heh, no it's fine.
I gotta admit I was a little confused at first too.
But this place isn't so bad.

[He smiles and offers his hand out to help him up.]

I'm Goku, what's your name?

[He holds out his hand and smiles.]

Megamind. Hey, you know...I think I'll take that advice.

Nice to meet you.

[Goku smiles, and apparently doesn't think at all about his own strength as he pulls Megamind back up to his feet.]

Huh... you're a lot lighter then you look, y'know that?

[Definitely taken by surprise by the strength, he wasn't expecting Goku to be quite that strong.]

Wow...you're the strong one. Yes, [brushing off his shoulders] my physique is rather wiry which does help in getting through tight places if my head doesn't get stuck first. Well, to be perfectly honest, if my head doesn't fit, neither will the rest of me.

[Once Megamind straightens himself up, he puts his hands on his hips.]

Say, where were you going in such a hurry anyway?

Oh! I was going to the kitchen! [He explains, pointing just down the hallway.]

I haven't eaten all week and I'm starving!
Er uh, well... my body hasn't eaten all week anyway...

Ah ha!! Now THAT explains everything!!

[He fluffs up his high collar and grins.]

Nothing comes between a man and his food.

[Not that he's had any real personal dealings with an appetite like Goku's but hey, he wasn't going to keep him waiting either.]

You haven't seen a cute pixie haired brunette around here, with blue eyes have you?

Uuhm... Noo, no I don't think so.

[Goku scratches at his head a bit, obviously in deep thought here.]

But... aren't pixies kinda small?
It's be pretty hard to see one flying around here.

[An eyebrow raises on his blue face.]

Come again?

Pixies?
They're these little itty bitty fairy things, right?

[The imagery of Roxanne as a tiny fairy came to mind but the thought had to be pushed aside.]

No, she's not a fairy. She's a woman and a beautiful, smart and fun one to best them all. I mean that she has short brown hair.

Ohh!
Nope, can't say I have.

What's her name?

[He turns and waves.]

[Looks like someone else had the same idea. But all the food looked so good! So Goku couldn't help but to pick a little bit from the pile as he peeks over to see who was feasting.]

Heh, hey there!
Guess i'm not the only one who got starved all week long.

Oh, hi. Sorry I didn't see you come in.

I wouldn't say starved more... the person who had my body didn't eat enough.

Heh, don't worry about it, it's fine.

[Eating takes a whole lot of concentration, it's easy to forget about your surrounding when stuffing your face. Goku knows this for fact, yes.]

I don't think the person who had my body ate anything at all.
Oh man... when I woke up this morning I could swear my stomach was trying to eat itself.

I felt the same way.

Ah, I'm sorry I haven't said my name. I'm Allen Walker it's nice to meet you.

You can have as much as you like, I think the pile is actually bigger than the amount I can eat.

Oh hi! I'm Goku!

[Food is more important then introductions. Don't mind him already helping himself to the pile as he continues to talk with a mouth full of food.]

M'mn! Thanks!

[Whats this? A CHALLENGER APPROACHES?! Goku blinks, sort of peeking up from his bowl a little bit.]

Wow, for such a little guy you sure can put it away pretty fast. Not bad kid!

[Cue him grabbing another plate and piling it up.]

I have to eat a lot to keep my energy going.

[A not-quite-awake Iroh stumbles down the hallway, humming to himself, arms folded into his sleeves. He really wants a good cup of jasmine tea, but his thoughts are interrupted by the person barreling down the hall.]

Slow down!

Whoa-oh! Sorry about that!

[Goku is still running past as he smiles while looking back over his shoulder with a wave.]

Where are you off to in such a hurry?

[Goku stops, sort of, as he just kind keeps jogging in place.]

Kitchen. Food.
Haven't eaten all week.
Hungry.

[He can hardly formulate a sentence, but you get the gist of it.]

What a terrible thing.

[Iroh's been on a normal eating schedule, but that doesn't mean he's not hungry.]

Let me come with you. I need breakfast.

Oh sure!
I'd love to have some company!

[Watch out though, cause he probably won't leave much left for anyone else to eat.]

Then I shall accompany you.

[It's nice to have someone so energetic around.]

What's your name, if I may ask?

[Oh goody! Goku gets an eating buddy! He'll slow his pace down a little bit to walk with his new friend.]

Oh! Heh, sorry I must have forgotten to even introduce myself.

New? Nah, not really.
I just showed up maybe a couple weeks ago.
Can't really say I'm quite used to how this place works just yet... but eh, I guess it kinda grows on you after a while.

Well, I hope everything's been alright for you here.

Yes, this place does have its own charm. There are some...well, frankly dangerous things, but it can be nice at times. This week has been very relaxing.

Well I suppose it could be worse. But I've seen a lot weirder things, so this feels more like a vacation then anything else.

[Oh boy the kitchen! Don't mind Goku sort of skipping in ahead of you, he's got some business to do with the fridge.]

Heh, yeah, this downtime sure is nice.
Though it does seem a little weird that nothings been going on at all, but I guess we can't really complain.

It does indeed, but it's a nice change of pace, considering all the strange things that have been happening here lately. We were on an island with flightless dragons just a few weeks ago.

[Iroh goes to the stove in the kitchen and sets the kettle to boil.]

Would you like some tea, Goku?

Mm'hm!

[He can't really talk with a mouth full of food, but of course he'd like some tea! Goku would need something to help wash down his breakfast. Breakfast being that pile of food slowly accumulating on the kitchen table.]

Oh you mean the dinosaurs? That was nothing! I had fun those guys. We have them roaming around all over the place where I'm from.
They're really not all that mean unless you do something to set them off.

Are they? I've never seen them before. And there are only two dragons left in the world. They're in hiding, you see. Most think they're gone.

[Iroh shakes his head and goes to the cupboard, selecting the tin of ginseng tea. He shakes the leaves into the teapot.]

We're running low...

Huh? Oh... well maybe it's only near where I live.

[He shrugs and sits himself down at the table to begin his little feast. If you can even call it little]

I've only ever seen two dragons myself, but I'm sure there's gotta be more then that.
All you gotta do is ask them to come out.

I'm sure you come from a very different place than I do.

Well, I don't think it's so simple with the dragons from my home. They have to hide or else they'll be hunted down.

[He sighs and turns to the kettle. He removes the steaming water and pours it into the teapot.]

Wha-? Hunt them down?
I can't imagine that would be a very easy task, they're so huge! Why would anyone want to hurt them?

[Cause Goku is totally a nature boy and loves animals, even ginormous dragons.]

Because it is a symbol of power. One who can slay the dragon would be seen as a truly great warrior. I am ashamed to say that it was my own country that carried out this tradition.
