[Emerging out of Nina's room is...Nina. But, isn't. Instead of her usual dress, the young dancer is clad in the Black Swan's costume, and has a different air about her. She seems more at ease, more sensual and seductive. As if nothing in the world could trouble her, and as if she owned that world entirely.

Looking around at her environment, she smiles a smile of the devil as she cracks her neck gently. So, it was this Manor again, was it..? It felt like only yesterday she was last here...

Her nails run down the banister with tantalising anticipation, her steps smooth, graceful and slow..]

[He stops and turns around. Gene felt his conscious tug at him even if he had work, Nina was in trouble and he couldn't bring himself to not look back.]

Yes?

[Now that she's at the bottom of the stairs, her voice is raised, but still as smooth and venomous as before]

[As always, Gene tries to be the gentleman.]

Would you need my help with anything? I've heard that the rooms have become rather...random.

Only now you offer help? Do you pity her that badly?

No. It's not pity I'm giving. It's concern but if you don't want it, I'll just go about my own way. But since you're there to help her, I doubt my help is needed.

[He's catching on that there is another personality. It was better to take it in stride than to panic and breaking a very delicate glass that could spill and cut the unsuspecting ones along the way.]

[Sniggering under her breath]

[He approaches Nina with sure steps and stops at the bottom of the stair case.]

I don't know what came over you but whatever it is, I would like to help. Stop pushing me away. Please. I made that mistake once.

[She scowls, red eyes seeming to sharpen]

And how do you think you can help? She doesn't need you, she doesn't need anyone]

[Pushing herself en pointe, she leans close to him]

Why this sudden want, hmmm~? Why this sudden fascination? I'm aware this place is an abyss, but honestly, can you find nothing else to do than hand out quota's of what you call compassion?

[After a moment, she smiles, and leans back, returning to floor level]

You can do whatever you want, but at the end of the day, you're merely speaking to a wall. A brick wall with a pretty face and a pretty temprement

[He didn't flinch. The fact that she was someone else made it clear that if he simply ignored her, it would be harder to understand her later. This had to be the work of the Author but boy this was severe.]

[She just smirks and rolls her eyes]

Why are you being so patronising?

[Normally he would be offended by this but considering the circumstance, he'll let it pass and shakes his head.]

Fine, I won't waste your time.

[He walks away since he feels he's not going to get anywhere with this.]

[As he walks away, she just giggles to herself, folding one hand behind her back and giving him a pinkie wave with the other]
