In my world, there's a steroid drug called Line. It gives the user strength beyond their imagination, but at the cost of their humanity. It's not called the Devil's Drug for nothing - it destroys people and makes them turn on even their most beloved incredibly violently.

I've been tracking the being who's the root source of this drug. The Premier. When I was sent home I was finally given the opportunity to kill him, kill him for all that he put me and my squad through. But when it came to it I was weak. I gave into the paranoia that I wouldn't be strong enough to kill him without the drug as he has all it's powers and more.

[He swallows hard. The very thought driving him mad.]

I bit him and killed him. Because of that I became infected with the virus he carried. It's the purest form of Line possible. It either kills you, or drives you insane. I got the latter. Within a week I took over japan and became it's dictator.

[Shiki pauses and looks up.]

If I was in the right frame of mind you know I would never have done that to John. He's one of the few here that deserve respect.

She knew Shiki was pretty no-nonsense; he wouldn't outrightly lie to her face about something this serious]
