The gravity stabilizer is broken- I need to fix it- otherwise we'll be face some sort of disaster- and probably something to do with the ship being ripped a apart.
[You know...she can't decide if that makes more sense because there's some little girl in charge of everything, or because it's a space ship and the Doctor's on it.]
No, all it can pick up is where gravity's not quite right-ooh.. [he's pulling it out of his pocket]
And I think-it's not just broken it's gone awry. Parts of the ship are heavier than they're supposed to be and some parts don't have any gravity- though, as I said- probably by the control room-if not in it.
Ordinarily, yes. But we're in a spaceship designed by a teenage girl that knows nothing about spaceships- so, if you didn't know anything about a space ship- where would you think the gravity stabilizer went-
-hold on. How would she know to put a stabilizer in a ship?
That could very well be- but messing with gravity this much is dangerous- it's inconsistent and the heavier parts will pull this ship a part if they get bad enough-
I don't think it's the author simply because it's not on one of the days she usually throws a wrench to things that have been mostly sorted.
[She glances down at the screwdriver even though she can't hope to understand its readings.] Right. So there must be a way to find it with something it's giving off?
