[[Well before the vision of anyone comes onto the screen is the sounds of a jingling thing on a chain. A small little cackle following it in the form of a 'ushishishi' sounding laugh. Confident and a slight hint of pride in it.

It's a white boot that collides with the blackberry which turns the view of the camera toward just the slightest hint of a tiara and blond hair, a shoulder with a dark jacket and a striped black and deep magenta shirt.]]

[[The sing song voice chimes again. He giggles the strange way that he's become accustomed to while he lounges on a lavish looking bed of leaves and other such things. Not what the Prince is used to, but it would have to do until he could get his barings and get back to the other Varia. From the relaxed position of his crossed ankles, he has no inclination to come off of it on his own. An arm shoots off to the side so he can have a look at the ring on his finger at a far off distance. The Storm ring for anyone who knows it; it looks right on his finger, looks at home to him.]]

I beat the bomber~ Of course I did. How could anyone beat me?

[[He sits up and in full view is all that is Belphegor. A full body shot of Prince the Ripper himself who tracks his attention to the communicator he booted with his designer boots. He 'heh's at it and moves in a slide down his makeshift area, gathering some of the leaves with him- why stand when he doesn't have to? -and picks it up, grinning like the devil into it.]]

Did you hear that whoever's listening? I'm the one worthy of the title Storm Guardian~ Ushishishi~

[[He gives the device a speculating look through his mass of blonde hair and with the shark-grin, turns it off. They only get just so much freebie gazing on the image of someone like him.]]

[[Even though eyebrows and eyes are the last thing to be expressive, its obvious from the smile that blooms into a Cheshire grin that he's just as surprised, almost elated to hear that voice.

All mention of smiles fall from his face though, the very second he sees that Gokudera's got the ring-- but how, this isn't a fake, they wouldn't have given him two halves of another fake.

[After listening in on his conversation with Gokudera, because 17 is a creeper like that, this android feels inclined to get acquainted with the cackling blond guy on the other end. Disregarding the 'heroes' from his time, the one person he has come to despise since his time here at the manor is that arrogant and foul mouthed Gokudera. Even if they did work together to take down a dinosaur some time back, the brat was still a little ass the entire time.

Since it seems he has beef with whoever-this-is, 17 already feels the possibility of forming some kind of alliance with this guy. Or at least try to.]

If it mattered here, I would pay a good sum of money to see someone beat the tar out of that foul mouthed little ass you were talking to earlier.

[Belphegor has no idea that people can spy on him, but with seeing suddenly now two locked things, he's amused to know it can be done. How fun. He can say all he wants without the idiot Bomber hearing a thing.

He's not exactly convinced yet by this new man's speech about Hayato Gokudera, a lot of people aren't to be trusted and Belphegor's not only one of them but works with people he still has to keep an eye over his shoulder for.]

[That's a funny question. It's kind of like when he was asked why he wants Goku to die: he just did. It could have been because Dr. Gero programmed his mind to only strive for that goal with no reason behind it, or maybe because 17 really was a ruthless killer with no reason to do what he does. Whatever the reason, his answer would have stayed the same.]

[Light's heard enough from the self proclaimed "Prince" Belphegor thanks to the combined efforts of Gokudera and Aoko to know that he cannot stand him. Belphegor hasn't even been brought into the Manor for more than a few minutes. Not many people manage to get on Light's good side as it is. It's even less likely to happen with a network post as obnoxious as that one. No, Belphegor may as well just be dead in Light's mind... though of course, there's always the chance for some utility. Entertainment. The two terms were virtually interchangable.]

["Unfortunately for him." Confident, certainly. Warranted? Heh. Perhaps not. Time alone would tell. Even without Light's interference, it's likely the two of them would fight. Gokudera's brash nature and this kid's arrogance are a match made in heaven. Or hell, depending on your outlook. Light prefers to look at the bright side. The best case scenario, and the one Light is hoping to see is Belphegor and Gokudera kill each other in a brawl- but he isn't picky. He'll accept either one being grievously injured.]

[Light doesn't necessarily want or need to see Gokudera's corpse, but that doesn't exclude the fact that he wouldn't complain if he did stumble across it. Gokudera's friendship with Sayu is what annoys him more than anything else- especially since Gokudera only attracts negative attraction from the people at the Manor. Associating with Sayu then, only invites trouble to bleed into her life.

On the other hand, it's a very real possibility that Gokudera's mess of a life will keep her distracted from digging into Light's own nefarious past. But is it a trade-off that's worth it? Kira would certainly think so, but Light Yagami is undecided. Conflicts of interest are quite frustrating, really. In either case, it's important to see how much of a threat Belphegor is, and more importantly, how far he's willing to go.]

He has quite a loathe some personality, doesn't he? But I wouldn't take it that far. Death only lasts so long here.
